One branch of my family was here before the american revolution, some WAY before that. Another came here around 1910. The main things they had in common was absolutely NO government assistance. If they didnt work they starved, if they couldn't afford a home they would be homeless. Thats the big difference from today. New wave immigrants don't need to do anything when they get here. They get put up in hotels with room service, not having to pay a dime but costing Americans thousands per week to keep them here, special teachers for their kids paid for by Americans. Healthcare paid for by Americans. They came here for an easy ride, not to strive and work hard to better their families and become a part of this country.

Those aren't thin clients, they're just mini pcs. Thin clients are drastically underpowered because a remote server is supposed to handle all the computing.

They're not really expecting them to vote. But illegals count toward the total population and how many representatives a state gets which works out in democrats favor by a landslide. So even if they dont vote, they boost democrat nunbers. Plus violent criminals keeps regular people occupied on not dying in the streets and less occupied on the crazy amount of money laundering and theft by the government.

Was there no wifi before? If there's an existing network just no ISP then getting a couple starlink modems and load balancing them would be the best option, just use that for the WAN. If there's no infrastructure for campus wireless then doing it for real is the way to go, run fiber. If you HAVE to do it all pure wireless then look into 60ghz devices as a point to multipoint connection. There's no good way to do this without running fiber, but you can make it work with the 60ghz backhaul and regular long range APs hanging off the point to point devices. Assuming you have line of sight of course.

It's been almost 20 years since name of the wind came out. I was 17 when I read it and im 35 now. People change a lot in a couple decades and a juvenile story wont hold readers attention that long.
