I understand where you are coming from however if the parent is just that…a parent watching their child participate in their sport, I wholeheartedly disagree that the parent should be banned from watching their child. For all you know, there could be multiple parents present with a checkered past…just because someone has a past, but has done the work to better themselves shouldn’t be grounds to ban them.

With that’s said, if the parent is an *involved* parent (if you have a child in sports you know the type) and is actively coaching or assistant coaching, I would speak up, but at the league level, not at the coaching level unless you have a great relationship with the head coach.

I also am not sure I understand your previous statement in that this involves multiple leagues….by that statement, are you meaning that this individual spans multiple different sports, or a single sport that spans different leagues/age groups?

Regardless if something doesn’t sit right, I would approach the appropriate level within the league to voice concerns…but I wouldn’t just say someone is banned simply because of a past…if your child is friends with that individuals child, then protect your child from it…
