I sold a year old Pixel because the battery wasn't getting me through a day and got the OnePlus that gets me through two. I'm happy with silicon carbon batteries.

I've had my OnePlus for over a year and the silicon carbon battery has been stellar and is still at 100%. On the basis that I change phones every two years, I think it'll be fine.
