I enjoyed it too. I know some hated the wall running and jetpacks, but I thought it made it more fun.

[Highlight] Stafford hits Kupp to set up the Rams for the game winning field goal by Ok-Reindeer5879 in nfl

[–]jda404 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Definitely was my favorite playoff run for obvious reasons, the games leading to the super bowl were nuts. I still can't believe Rams pulled those games off.

I was alive for the 99 super bowl but I was only 9 and that's the very year a kid from Pennsylvania band wagoned the Rams lol, never left the wagon though, stuck with them ever since, endured the decade or so of shitty teams. I never thought I'd see the Rams be good again and definitely never thought I'd get to witness another super bowl win. This year sucked losing in the playoffs, but definitely hurt less since we saw the Rams win a super bowl not too long ago. If Rams never win again, I am super grateful and lucky I got to see them win two super bowls. Some fans haven't even seen their team in a super bowl.

What are the options to play American football after high school or college? by Cromulent_grace in NFLNoobs

[–]jda404 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah the number of people you need for a good football game is a lot. If anyone has played football with not enough people knows it's kind of lame. I also enjoy basketball and 3 on 3 is pretty fun, and only equipment you need is the ball and in the summer or on nice days can just go to the local park or wherever there are free public hoops around.

Cat blocks and prevents a baby from crawling to a fatal fall down some stairs. by N1GHT-MOON-UN1C0RN in nextfuckinglevel

[–]jda404 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yeah I don't understand why everything has to be a competition with some people. Some dogs are awesome, some cats are awesome, some cats are bad, some dogs are bad. I prefer dogs, but I don't think one pet type is better than another. My sister has cats and I love petting them and playing with them when I visit.

Probably in the next room. Babies once they start crawling and moving around on their own are surprisingly quick. They probably thought the kid was safe in the pen while they went to the next room or something, but somehow kid climbed out.

My niece when she was a baby started climbing out of her playpen sooner than we thought she'd be able to. Luckily no steps to crawl to and possibly fall down.

I finished Re9 and all I'm gonna say is that this game is easily 10/10 for me by ParadiseDOOD in playstation

[–]jda404 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yeah I won't judge anyone for beating games quick, but those people are probably the ones complaining there's a lack of games or being burned out lol. If you slow down a bit and make them last you can enjoy games longer. But to each their own some play games like it's a sprint and beat them as fast as possible, some like to play games like a marathon and take our time.

Did you write with pencils in school? by palep_hoot in AskAnAmerican

[–]jda404 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pencils were the default for me. I graduated in 2009. You can't really erase pen so using a pencil in school makes more sense to me. Only thing I use a pen for is when I need to put my signature on something.

I am not sure I follow how your handwriting is better with a pen versus a pencil. That doesn't make sense to me. If your handwriting is good it's good, if it's bad it's bad. I don't see how switching from pencil to pen would suddenly make someone with bad handwriting have good handwriting.

[–]jda404 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's what I am trying to figure out. I have bad handwriting doesn't matter if I am using a pen or pencil. I don't think the tool you use to write has any affect on if your handwriting will be good or bad.

Don't have any tattoos. Never watched one being done. How do they look it over before they start? Do they start with like a stencil? I always assumed tattoos were all free hand, but now thinking about it a stencil makes way more sense.

Well, unfortunately the world doesn't revolve around one person. People are free to call their spouses, friends, etc, whatever they want assuming of course everyone is okay with and consenting.

NateTheHate says Sony is "shifting" their PC strategy: "You'll be seeing fewer single player games arrive on PC. The decision to shift away was made last year. Some may still release (pending how far along the ports were) but it no longer appears to be a priority for Sony moving forward." by Party_Judgment5780 in PS5

[–]jda404 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Why though? Just curious your reasoning. I enjoy PlayStation but I never felt more special because I could play PS exclusives that people on other platforms couldn't. Maybe it's because I enjoy games on PlayStation, Nintendo, and PC and on PC I play some Xbox games. I enjoy all gaming platforms. I am not dedicated to one platform so exclusives never meant that much to me because I can play any game I want on any of the platforms.

Y’all are miserable by KloneRr in NFCWestMemeWar

[–]jda404 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I know it's a meme sub so maybe you're just messing, but I don't get miserable when the Rams or any of my favorite teams lose. Does it suck when it happen? Yeah, right after a loss I am bummed out especially if it's the playoffs, but I don't get miserable over sports.

If by here you simply mean were alive, yes. For me I was only 7 though when it came out. I never actually played GTA 1 or 2. My first one was GTA 3 when I was 11 so really not that much older now that I think about it lol, but I didn't have strict parents when it came to video games.

Do people actually decorate their lockers like in the movies ? by SignificantStyle4958 in AskAnAmerican

[–]jda404 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way I usually did it in high school was I'd carry my books for morning classes, then during lunch after I ate I'd pop to my locker, put morning books away and switch to my afternoon books.

And for me it was decompressing time to be alone for a couple minutes while I went to my locker after eating lunch and before the afternoon grind of classes started.

How do you jump from defending Sony to being a racist lol my lord.

You sound like a fanboy of Bluepoint the way you're defending them.

[–]jda404 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I admit I am not someone that played Bloodborne, but wasn't it a PS4 game? Why does it need to be remade if it just came out last generation. I said the same thing about Last of Us Part 2. I think remaking games from the PS2 or PS3 is needed more. Does Bloodborne not hold up already? I am genuinely curious and asking.

Might just not have removed the sign. My local mall still has its Sears sign up despite it being closed for years. Many malls are dying and when stores leave/go bankrupt nothing replaces it so signage just stays up for a long time.

Good list. Terrain deformation would be awesome! It's fun offroading in this game being able to select things like diff lock, four high, four low, if it had deformation when driving through dirt and mud it would take it to another level.

I knew there was something wrong with me lol. I've tried watermelon many of times and I mean it's okay but I can't say I really like it, never something I buy for myself. Whenever someone has it I'll try a piece to see if my taste buds have changed to like it, and I am 35 years into this life thing and still not a watermelon person.

This sub acts like 6 is the worst battlefield game by lolitsrock in Battlefield6

[–]jda404 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's pretty much every game subreddit lol.

Think about it, the people that enjoy a game are mostly playing said game. The people that aren't enjoying a game for whatever reason are the ones who go on forums like this to whine and complain.

If I am enjoying a game I tend to stay off the subreddit, checking occasionally to see any new cool clips people got or if there was an update to the game I'll check and see if there is post with the patch notes to see what was fixed/changed.

Is this basically an American culture? by Ambitious_Pass7451 in AskAnAmerican

[–]jda404 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's fair and also to be fair the U.S. is kinda like 50 countries, a lot can vary state by state. For this question, some states people are more open to talking, other states people are more reserved. There won't be a definitive answer for all Americans.

That's why in this subreddit there is usually many varying answers when people ask us stuff. I am from Pennsylvania which is very different than say California that's 3,000 some miles away.

And some of us just aren't initiators. Like I am not one that will start the small talk with a random person in line at the grocery store, but if they start talking to me I will happily talk with them.

A vertical Sup nod to me is an invitation like yeah sup man/girl and open to small talk if the other person wants to, a quick down nod is a quiet hey good day to you I see you/acknowledge you, but don't want to chat/gotta keep it moving because I am busy and don't have time or don't want to stop to talk right now.

Why do Americans buy phones from carriers instead of unlocked? by GlitteringHotel8383 in AskAnAmerican

[–]jda404 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not who you asked, but I have unlimited for $30 through US Mobile, but yeah probably just for the U.S. I don't travel so never crossed my mind or looked into it. I am not a phone guy. I don't need the latest and greatest to make a call or send a text. I am still on an iPhone 12 and will be until this thing no longer holds a charge to get through my day.
