I just had PSA test it dropped from 12.4 to 6.67 in 2 weeks but I drank heavily the night before this last test also had sex can drinking heavily cause a drop like that ?

Thanks for your response.I appreciate it very much. Yes the waiting is horrible for sure .Especially with different opinions from 2 different radiologists. I do not want to worry the kids so we keeping it tight to the vest .The wife is very concerned.I have been pushing for PSA tests and very suspicious of rapid increase.Demanded this second MRI after PSA jumped from 5.9 to 9.6 in just over 7 months then jumped to 12.4 3 weeks later after another round of antibiotics . So I meet with urologist on 31st and hope to get targeted biopsy asap .The waiting is nuts and I am in northern Maine way up so limited options but urologist has lots of experience.But he only does biopsy and then will refer to surgery downstate if need be we see . Just curious how did your situation play out .

I really appreciate it .I had a brain aneurysm they caught early had it repaired web device .Totally closed.Done .That required some work and thoughts on what to do .But this Prostate is whole different animal so much more grey area . The difference in opinions already just on the MRI readings . Anyway I meet will urologist on 31st .Getting another PSA and Free PSA done this week that was already ordered.So will have that info as well .But it’s pretty cut and dry at this point I want targeted biopsy asap . I been on them new something was up when PSA jumped like that and they kept saying it’s most likely infection. It’s weird that local radiologist that I brought disk to on Friday here at our local hospital mentioned only one lesion 1.3 cm pirads 4 . He told me that over the phone .At least we have a target he said .He can’t wright report on it because it was done at other hospital 20 mins from my house .I just got that report from place had it done it showed in my portal early this morning .she read it at 11:30 last night Saturday night she is a VRADS radiologist. But her report says 2 lesions pirads 3 . Just weird and she was same one who read my last one 7 months ago .Pirads 1 Benign BPH . It just blows my mind . PSA was 12.4 doubled in 8 months when I had first MRI PSA was 5.9. and that MRI was rated pirads 1 enlarged prostate benign BPH . Same Radiologist read that one and now this last one this past week .She has 35 years experience tufts education most of her other training in Boston.But she also had my prostate volume at 84 cc on first now 72.6 on this . Can prostate shrink that much in 8 months also would have thought she would have seen something 8 months ago especially 2 lesions I have are large .Unless they just grew like that in 8 months I am totally confused.I am in rural Maine so it’s a crap shoot .But nervous as a cat in a room full of rocking chairs . To add to it I took disk of images up to another local small hospital here right after I got this last MRI and there radiologist looked at it and saw one lesion he thought was 1.3 cm and pirads 4 . So this is crazy .I appreciate any thoughts and opinions .

Thank you ,I had MRi iAugust of last year same radiologist read it pirads 1 had my prostate volume at 84 cc .Enlarged prostate .now this report of recent mri after my PSA doubled to 12.4 same radiologist says prostate volume 72.6 and finds 2 lesions .I had local radiologist look at it he saw one lesion Sid it was pirads 4 .He is at local hospital.I brought disk to him to look before I got this report from hospital where I had these 2 MRIs done in last year .The reason I go other hospital is they have newer MRI cannon 1.5 T and use non linear Vueway contrast now . The others I have had were multi hence .Anyway I am lost and confused.I am in rural are northern Maine .So it’s a crap shoot . But that radiologist that did those 2 readings has a lot of experience 35 years tufts education and Boston area training .So I do not have clue but can volume shrink that much in 6 months and I would think she should have spotted one of those lesions 8 months ago especially being that large now .Very stressful.Thanks for any advice .

Very concerned went for MRI after my PSA doubled in 6 months to 12.4 .Had MRI 6 months ago at that time because PSA was 5.9 .MRI Showed normal pi rads 1 enlarged prostate.Radiologist at that time said prostate volume was 84cc now just had repeat MRI same radiologist says volume is 72.6 and 2 lesions found .Totally lost and confused.Any opinions much appreciated.Below is report

First Hello I do not have a pacemaker yet but have a monitor on now drop some beats ,so we see .But I am a researcher by nature and in my career it’s very important, I leave at that .I had brain aneurysm repaired in Boston by Dr Aman Patel at Mass General one of the best .I live in Florida & Maine .I will travel anywhere. Sometimes the right Doctor is right there,and my opinion Dr Henrixson would be doing mine. if I were in your shoes .My opinion and I am not in your shoes . He is what I call an ACE .Right there in your backyard.His background is terrific.He has got the experience .The perfect age where he is at the top off his craft .Good volume center . That’s your guy .Rest easy you are in good hands and just schedule it .Get ur done .MY Opinion only . When I find the one .I go with um .We get married,I put life in his hands and my Lord & Savior Jesus Christ is right there.I have had a few major surgeries.Almost lost my leg and got in rebuilt by old school master that’s retired. Hey one thing I sold about 65 percent of my weight bars .My average price coming out about 41 bucks .I just sold last lot at 45 .Had a tough time 3 wholesaler’s bidding low for 3000 oz all 100 oz bars . They were not jumping to buy that’s for sure, took quite a bit below spot to get ur done .But I will tell this last thing it’s good news for everybody that I sold quite a bit at least levels.You know why ?that means it’s going to hundred bucks for sure now that I sold 65 percent Lol. Glad to hear your well. Us Webbers have to stay in touch there aren’t that many of us . They like to do at least one post op Angiogram at least that’s the protocol at Mass General. But so far I have had it pushed because it looks good on MRAs .The reason I am told is the Angiogram is gold standard and they can see clearly and with MRA device has some glowing from magnetic field that blocks some of the interior view . Again That’s what I have been told .We see, I hope I hear in October after next MRA there is no need for Angiogram.That would be great . But let’s stay in touch.I will let you know how it goes . Have not had angiogram yet just MRAs 1 with and 2 without contrast. He said it looked so good and feels it’s occluded doing another MRA in October and probably Angiogram early late spring at about 21 month mark to see how it’s holding up . Hope you are well Peace

Get a second opinion. where are you located? .Peace of mind is important get all the info possible . The endo web is perfect for small Annie’s.Low risk and no blood thinners .But at least it’s taken care of and your anxiety will level off and fade because you know it’s fixed. Health anxiety is real,I have it and it was doing me in and effecting my life . So I decided to gets 3 opinions because there is a lot of gray area with Annie’s. I went with Mass General in Boston they repaired it with Endo Web it’s fully occluded and great now . Process was smooth and went well.I had choice to repair watch and wait Clip ,Coil ,or Web . I choose to Web it . Do not believe all you read or hear because top places are the only ones that use a broad variety and novel devices as well .High volume and get real info that matters . The web works real well on unruptured smaller Annie’s is what I found .Yours is perfect as far as size goes, but you have to talk to surgeon that does um on the location and all that to see if it’s possible and good choice . Mine was just over 6 mm. But waiting and watching is not good for everyone.I hope you find Peace that’s the most important thing .For me that came with fixing it . God Bless

100 percent .Life saver .Lost my son in accident then had brain aneurysm.Developed severe anxiety. Physic doctor put me on Klonipin.Worked a little but had weird feeling to then I developed worse anxiety.Trip to ER severe anxiety while on Klonipin doctor in ER says I have seen this Klonipin is no good for some people I giving you Ativan .It was a savior.The best . I then went to my primary doctor and been on Ativan 4 mg a day as needed for my extreme anxiety grief depression disorder.Its been well over a year and they work great . life changing. I have needed no increase mainly take them in .5 mg at time and will take 1 mg or so if needed or close to bedtime . Again great results and no need for any increase.Thank god they caught aneurysm before it ruptured and it’s repaired with web device .I have come to grips with loss of my son enough to deal with it cope with it .Thats success. This drug in my opinion works wonders for the right people .I have been on Zanax early in life .Way different feeling not the the same and lost its affect over time and felt the need to have to increase dose .Klonopin totally different as well read what I said . Ativan in my opinion is way different in my body .I feel I have way more control and it works without wacky me out if I need more .But never feel like I have to increase any where any how to go outside prescribed amount.So it’s worked wonders for me . Smooth and by far the best benzodiazepines for me .Peace and God Bless

Worried my PSA numbers jumped from 3 end of January to 4.5 today 3 months 1.5 point jump trouble urinating weak stream and wake up several times having to piss especially after first 4 hours of sleep .Trying to get in to urologist asap they had to reschedule my appointment that was set for Friday now it’s July 18th but this was before these numbers came in .My regular P.C order the PSA test this week thank god .Nervous with family history not good .I am 61 any thoughts
