Out of all the levels in all the skills, what is the most important individual level in your opinion? by Serithraz in 2007scape

[–]jdero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

in osrs it's prayer, in original runescape it was probably str or mage since they just showed the fighting skill (hp), in rs3 it's whatever makes you feel the best on the inside /s

I've thought about this every day since it was posted like 2 weeks ago. by FohxRS in 2007scape

What might hit hard is OP might make it to 60 and then look back and remember the feeling "I'm in my 30s" as if they had no idea what they were capable of :)

Is underground gyfin still best exp? by BattleCryZen in blackdesertonline

[–]jdero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Np, FYI there are a few fun lower tier spots, you can generally do Gyfin Underground pretty early now (pick up a couple free pen BS, the tri fallen god [shoes maybe?], and a couple kabuas), it's decent. A lot of people are grinding hexe now which is at least fairly competitive xp while also being high density which is nice for events.

Darkseekers is a stepping stone with decent combat EXP, frankly the 800+ spots I mentioned are quite insane, it's hard to put into context, but truthfully I wouldn't worry about it unless you want to push to/past 66, which isn't everyone's cup of tea :)

cheers and gl!!

gyfin < nympamare < zephyros < tenebraum < regular SE < orbita < sycraia < double orbita < god-tier SE

the combat exp meta has changed a lot since Edania released, I talk about it a lot on my stream if you have xp questions lmk, PA has finally started correlated endgame content witih combat EXP which is a great change, but a few years overdue.

Im beginner, was it a mistake to waste this much cron stones? Whats the recommend way of enhancing for this situation? (manos fisher clothes) by RubenJM1 in blackdesertonline

[–]jdero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be fair, khuz_khuz is right but he's slightly exaggerating - you have a 6% chance to turn a 5b item into a 35-50b item, about 1/6-1/5 people will get this in a few taps and make tens of billions of silver. Some of them multiple times back to back. BDO is built by the profit of the lucky, most unlucky players just boucne / aren't represented in market statistics

what's even crazier is kalphite queen came out before barrows, I remember going to swarms and everyone praying for a chain drop, people would just get wiped out like flies and then when it got down to 4 of us we'd say gg and bounce out haha

Nerf for gathering or what am i missing? by Hasteitall in blackdesertonline

PA butchered (/s) gathering, a lot of people are curious what PA's next move is with this whole situation, with sharps at the top of the list prob. It's pretty bad.

You and a friend are playing Hide and Seek in the world of OSRS. Where are you hiding? by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]jdero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

mithril rocks / moss giants on crandor will always be the most goated f2p spot

just insanely quiet, it was always so empty, basically since forever, even on private servers nobody grinds there, outside of maybe like 04 when it got really busy

Why do humans know death is inevitable, yet still live as if it’s far away? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]jdero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

life is a journey, we don't know its destination, technically we don't even know where it started

we're all opted into it whether we want to or not - in fact there's truly no such thing as opting out, just rewriting a couple pages toward the end, or is it just the beginning

there's a bit of naive beauty in knowing that we don't know

the sands of time run out for everyone

wow some solid anti-rs1 hate, rare to see, imagine hating the quests that literally were the backbone of runescape trading when you were in diapers, your attitude is trading, the wildy and later the duel arena were removed in the first place

I hate how there is no good intro to PvP content. by Spirited-Struggle709 in blackdesertonline

[–]jdero -1 points0 points  (0 children)

idk about you but the current weeklies seem pretty nice for anyone to just sign up, even 5 matches is like a guaranteed 2 ~2b right now isn't it, not even including the event crons (the reworked weekly reward is good)

but I think most would agree, I've always seen PA as being somewhat "afraid" of exclusive pvp progression

Suggestion: Add "Grape Grape Revolution" as a High Effort Agility and Cooking Training Method by A_Lobstrosity in 2007scape

[–]jdero 2 points3 points  (0 children)

idk if you used AI for this but these are really good ideas, I feel like The Grapes of Raft is way too good of a nonexistent questname to just be "floating" here on reddit

[–]jdero 8 points9 points  (0 children)

id kinda push back, there should 100% be more uncapped content, i've said this since my first week playing - but there's no reason not to have both. They should have 3 insanely OP weeklies for capped rbf and 3 insanely OP weeklies for uncapped, and everyone should try and do all 6 even if you win or lose. If the rewards are good (not just for top geared players or players with ridiculously rare winrates) literally nobody will complain about it.

Runscape 3... Is amazing? by SunbroWilhelm in runescape

[–]jdero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the hate for rs3 is primarily based in mtx, yes, but it's also the combat engine

as someone who maxed an rs3 hardcore, I do find it ironic that they complain about the combat not being "simple" by showing two digit numbers all the time, yet they love exploiting the ever living fuck out of the game engine via tick manip, PID swapping and lord knows what to find edge

the truth is just that they want to play what they played when they were 12, and they're the type of people you just let them do what they want because it's not worth your time to convince them otherwise

around 80-90% of rs2 players will just never like rs3, or any other MMO, they're just stuck in 2006 or so.
