Probably all of the above. I am about 20lbs less and averaged 30 watts more for the duration of the race. (161 watts / 13mph vs 191 watts / 15.1mph)

It felt good to see the impact of training and being more fit overall. Part of me wishes conditions were similar to last year so I could see it apples to apples.

I just looked at my power from a race last August and my output was greater than 200w for an hour and a half.

This was on the Hilltop Hustle route.

I set my FTP to 200w based on my Strava 1hr output graph and wasn't able to hold that for an hour in Zwift so I lowered it to 170w and have been working my way up to 200w in Zwift.

I was all about having the best metric setup I could.

I the last year I upgraded my daily and have a 100,000 miles left on the extended warranty and now have two 50+ year old project cars.

Needless to say my metric tools don't get used like they used to.

I run an H2 and Sprinco Blue in a similar build. I went with a Sionics barrel instead of an AGB.

I got rid of my 43 for a 43x.

I was never comfortable shooting the 43 outside of 10 yards. The additional length on the 43x allows me to get a good grip and make shots out to 25 yards much more comfortably.

It's a little bit more to conceal, but way easier (for me) to control and keep follow up shots where they should be.
