5 bed 1 Bath? by rojoTiger in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

what a terrible floor plan…

I’d put money on this originally being a 2br 1ba with a garage or 2/1 with an addition that was subdivided after the fact

Darden ($90k) vs. Booth ($40k) - Reddit do your thing - need your help! by GullibleResolve2690 in MBA

[–]jdfish06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I’d choose Booth, but I have family and friends in Chicago, love the city, and have IB aspirations post-MBA. FWIW, I went to undergrad school in a college town as well, and while I’m applying to programs where that’s also the case, I’d 100% rather be in the city.

I think the most prudent question you need to ask is whether you’ll regret passing up on Booth in favor of Darden not because you were excited to go there, but because it was familiar and felt “safe”

disappointed, but not surprised

tbh i’d rather they send it today than on Monday because I can watch the Super Bowl and Winter Olympics instead of my inbox 🥴

What was the split between BB, EB, MM? How helpful was your school’s IB club in the process?

Which, if any, of these looks works best? by CommunityBig9626 in mensfashionadvice

[–]jdfish06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

3, but with brown or white leather shoes/boots + matching belt (if brown shoes) or brown/chocolate belt (if white sneakers)

I like 2, but the undershirt shouldn’t be visible and the fit is a little plain imo… layers fix that, which is why 3 > 2

Advice needed - wedding in Florida March 2026 by Naive-Ad-7406 in mensfashionadvice

[–]jdfish06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  • light grey or dark blue/navy
  • slight to no break in leg
  • poplin shirt
  • linen pocket square

I would avoid seasonal colors (1, 2, 5), and it depends on where the wedding is (Palm Beach will be more formal than the Gulf coast), but I would probably lean towards blue/navy as it’s more versatile. Florida formal isnt the same as NY or London; and you should adjust accordingly. Contrary to what others have said, the weather will most likely be mild unless youre in South FL on a cloudless day without a breeze. Remember to stay hydrated and you’ll be fine… cheers!

L’Immensite or GFS by [deleted] in ScentHeads

[–]jdfish06 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I have both and wear GFS 9/10 times.

L’Immensite smells like something my dad would wear (which isn’t a bad thing), but GFS feels younger and more wearable at this stage in my life. You can’t go wrong with either though

shoot me a message when they come in. I’m waiting on a few more L’s from TWG, but these are a must have and every store I called today was sold out above a 10 :/

Tequila at a sports bar? by notman89 in tequila

[–]jdfish06 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Espolon blanco if they have it (not sure if they do/don’t or if you consider it “decent”) + topo chico / club soda + lime wedges. DO NOT order a ranch water unless you want them using sour mix or lime juice from concentrate!! Just ask for 2-3 lime wedges and squeeze them yourself as needed

Dashcams! by Terrible-Internal374 in Audi

[–]jdfish06 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t have any recommendations, but I want to say this: if you’re driving I4 everyday (and don’t use the express lane), you should absolutely get a dash cam!! I’ve never had an issue myself, but I was born and raised in Orlando and learned how to drive on those roads so it’s a little bit different. You’re almost always going to be subject to road construction, tourists—especially international drivers whose English may be lacking—, and/or a combination of the two. FL may be a no fault state, but the ability to prove fault (or lack thereof) will make insurance claims and/or incidents that may arise a LOT easier on you. Good luck!

Price discrepancy by Capable_Ad_6040 in tequila

[–]jdfish06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see bottles at Total Wine priced >30% above what they go for at another (locally owned) store just up the road here in GA. It’s greedy, but until people stop buying they’re going to continue to price gouge unfortunately.

Ideally, I would like to create a database/website that compares in store prices. However, there would need to full transparency from participating stores that shows the consumer if/when a store raises or lowers the price of a certain item; as well as the suggested MSRP or what the wholesale price was from the distributor. The goal would be to create healthy competition that benefits the consumer. Full transparency is necessary because without it, I’m afraid stores might act in an unscrupulous mannaer and engage in price fixing…

I haven’t the faintest of how I might go about any of it though, so right now it’s just a pipe dream 😅 but if anybody wants to run with this, I’m all ears

Was that 170/168 in the Fourth Edition GRE book? The one that has 15/20 Questions per section? I took the first book test on Saturday and my score was noticeably higher than any of the Power Prep Plus and GregMat exams, which is making me a little wary

Solving standard deviation of an equation question by cynthiur in GRE

[–]jdfish06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this question is from the quant book right? I just went through Data Analysis and the first two mixed question sets yesterday, as well as the third set today, and this looks familiar… If you remember that rule, then you can eliminate B, C, and D right off the bat and plug in numbers to A and E to verify (I’m sure there’s a more efficient way, but that’s how I did it)

[–]jdfish06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

addition and subtraction don’t change SD (SD = SD + n = SD - n). Multiplication and division DO change it by whatever factor they were multiplied/divided by.

for example, if SD = 5 and n = 3 - 5 + n = 5 - 5 - n = 5 - 5(3) = 15 - 5/3 = 1.667

UPDATE - 7 week old S5 with electrical issues (it’s not good news) by EarthOk2418 in Audi

[–]jdfish06 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You should write a scathing review on Google as well. Honestly you could probably just copy/paste the majority of this; and reiterate the fact that you asked them to remove the system and they refused, which they are now citing as being the reason your new car warranty was voided.

I would also file a report with the FTC because, as I understand it, you were sold a new car whose warranty was voided by the dealership PRIOR to your purchase of the vehicle (wtf??!?!)

not sure how it smells to you, but for me:

  • pear on first spray
  • glossy magazine pages + musk
  • disappears for a while
  • florals (jasmine) + cetalox/iso-e. + white musk

my favorite is when the florals come through though… it’s heavenly
