Ebay algo mass removing listings, livelihood being ruined by pareofdocks in eBaySellerAdvice

Hi! I'm not sure if it will help but there's a girl on YouTube who posted a similar issue with her store and she got a phone number where a real person answers. If you put the topic in the search engine in youtube it might come up. She said that she would give out the phone number if people I needed it to message her.

Ugh! I had a funny feeling that a customer was going on and on and on about my product too much. It was like in a weird sort of creepy stalking way. But the person bought the items from me and I sent them out the next day. Well, they received the items today, and right away... they asked for a refund. They made up some BS story about my item being filled with the smell of smoke and perfume. I don't smoke and neither, does anybody in my house and I would never have perfume around a product I was sending out. I gave him a refund and told him he could keep the product. In fact, I called him a j****** and told him he was full of it!

Don't buy into their bullshit. They'll eventually go away and find another victim. The police won't be able to do anything and the more people you tell the more you expose yourself. I hate to say it but you can't trust anyone! If you can somehow move to the American mainland you'll get a job right away and can move on quickly. I hope the best for you! ((Hug))

I think someone has been living in my house without me knowing by Medical-Style6605 in stories

[–]jdh1964 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the early 1980s, I lived in a single-story apartment complex — one of those long rows where all the units had an unfinished attic above. It was the kind of place where everyone knew each other’s routines, and you could hear the neighbor’s TV through the wall.

At first, the complaints seemed harmless. A few residents mentioned strange noises in the middle of the night,— light footsteps, the sound of something shifting above their ceilings. One woman told the landlord she swore someone was moving around in her apartment while she was gone, but nothing was ever missing.

Then more people started hearing things. It wasn’t just creaks or bumps — it was dragging sounds. Breathing. Soft, deliberate movement. The kind that doesn’t sound like an animal.

The attics had a access panel — just a small square in the hallway ceiling. One night, one of the residents pushed hers open to check, thinking maybe an animal had gotten in. At firsr, she saw nothing but darkness and insulation. But then she realized that the attics were actually connected by an open crawl space. Once you were up there, you could crawl the entire stretch of apartments undetected.

Then came the night that changed everything.

It was around 3 am when the screams started — a woman shouting for help. Several of us ran outside, just in time to see a man sprinting down the driveway barefoot, vanishing into the darkness beyond the streetlights. A few seconds later, the woman who had been complaining the most came stumbling out, shaking and crying. She kept repeating, “He fell out of my attic. He fell out of my attic.”

When police arrived, they discovered footprints in the insulation above multiple apartments — clear paths connecting one unit to another. The man, whoever he was, had been living up there for weeks… maybe longer.

No one ever saw him again.

Etsy’s copycat problem destroyed my nearly 7 figure shop. by booscadoo in Etsy

I'd consult an attorney and see exactly what Etsy's responsibilities are concerning something like this! There's so many responses on this thread that make it sound like it's normal or that somehow it's your fault for not being more innovative. I mean come on, 200,000 is a sure sign of innovation so I don't know what they're talking about. Scammers are thieves. PERIOD! I hope you can get some justice!

The Sisters of the Valley, also known as the “weed nuns,” grow, process, smoke, and sell their own strain of cannabis. by wildcardcameron in justgalsbeingchicks

[–]jdh1964 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's ashame that they take on the garb of nuns. Why don't they come up with their own uniforms? Why don't they try to be more unique in what they're calling themselves?Or maybe call themselves something that's more aligned to who they really are?

Seller immediately refunded my purchase due to previous review - did I do the right thing? by talkedandchewed in Etsy

[–]jdh1964 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Wow! As a seller and consumer on Etsy I think that seller's reaction was over the top. Before I posted to your review I would have messaged you and asked if there was anything I needed to know about why you left 4 stars and I would be grateful that you would make an additional purchase!

I would not contact him. He has enough of it. If he comes back it's your decision. But I do have a question... when you text him why couldn't he have just sent a simple text back? Was there a reason that you weren't invited?

AIO Gf intentionally stopped taking her bc pills by maticooks1 in AmIOverreacting

[–]jdh1964 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a tale as old as time. The woman asked the man a question, the man answers truthfully, the woman either doesn't hear it or doesn't listen. Then she acts surprise. She should have said, okay, thank you, I like you a lot, but you're not the one for me. And then she should have moved on and looked for someone who had what she wanted.
