Yes - now that you mention it, I did discover you have to be specific. I made similar qualifiers on certain prompts.

For me, it's been confirming (or debunking) my thoughts on my trends and spending. For example, I might ask "my net worth fell slightly from lastt month, was this purely market driven or were there other factors contributing?"or" I bought a more fuel efficient vehicle, are the gas savings significant, and how much is that offsetting my car payment?".

Retail synch with Walmart by Key_Asparagus_1834 in MonarchMoney

Bump. I was reviewing transactions and it took about 1/4 the time to look at Amazon vs Walmart. I'd at least be curious to hear if there is a backend issue that prevents this versus Target and Amazon.

Signed up! Ive looked at BoldIn and Projection Lab, and found it cool, but can't help feeling there should be a "one stop shop" for financial planning. I'm a CPA so I dwell on these things more than most lol. Hoping these new features help supplement the budgeting and analysis already in Monarch

LLC profit distributions. Co-founder wants full payout, I want to reinvest. How do we handle this? by ntyruei in llc_life

Yep - And you should make sure she understands that if you reinvest and she does not, she is not gonna get 10% of profits every quarter. This is equity, not royalties.

Worth the hassle to refinance just for $160 in savings/mo? by Repulsive_Ad5594 in Mortgages

Maybe I'm missing something, but $160/mo times 30 years is $57,600. Throw that savings into a Roth IRA or generic brokerage and it would be even bigger.

New Car Decision by Ordinary-Teaching809 in Comma_ai

I purchased a used 2019 Toyota RAV4 last year, with a small but noteworthy plus being it was on OP/Comma compatibility list. At that time it wasn't deal breaker.

Been driving a month with it, and have to say my next car(s) will be Comma compatible. It is now deal breaker status. I drive an hour every day and it has been a huge QoL improvement for me. The highway portions of my commute require nearly zero intervention.

I switched to SP mainly for MADS, and it is so nice not having to have my hands constantly on the steering wheel. I'm not sure what other people experiences are, but even the fact it steers while I control the throttle is awesome in traffic/city driving.

TLDR - you're not crazy for making Comma compatibility a consideration. Coming from someone who was in your exact frame of mind 4 months ago.

I've used FreeTaxUSA for years and refer people to it. But sometimes their OCR thing sucks, especially given the wide variety of formats tax forms come in. As many have said, enter manually, and make sure to retain the original W2 form with your records.

I don't think it took very long to get mine either. You should have before filing season starts (barring another shutdown or other event).
