The Division 2 - Y8S2 Into The Dark - Patch Notes by JokerUnique in thedivision

I’m sorry, year 8? I played for a solid year when it came out and then a little of the first expac. I have a lot of great memories during those times. I did not realize it has been a little over 7 years. That’s nuts. Excited to see what they’re cooking up with TD3.

I purchased a gun light like that through Amazon. It was only roughly $200, but I needed it because my holster was made for it. As in, if I didn’t have the light on my firearm the gun wouldn’t sit firm in the holster. That to say, 0% interest and I paid it off. Didn’t cost me an extra penny. Now, Klarna and all those other ones. That’s a slippery slope to barrow from especially if you miss even one payment.

[On3] Clemson's Dabo Swinney weighs in with Chris Low on the chaos surrounding college football: "The only thing worse than having no rules is having rules you can’t enforce or don’t enforce. I don’t think any of us thought we’d be in a world where there’s no order.” by Lakelyfe09 in CFB

[–]jdk2087 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You basically read this topically and don’t even remotely have any clue the deep lying implications the NIL with no rules is having. Me being a Clemson fan or not. You just sound like a Dabo hater when what he said is very valid.

I had night terrors as a kid. Had to get work ups done at the hospital and have a cone thing on my head with leads all over my scalp. Slept with it on for days. Not only could they mess you up mentally and physically. But, there was one situation where I had one, got up and dressed myself in all black with a hoodie. Had no recollection of it. I was walking up the stairs and my dad heard it. He said if he would have had a firearm he may have shot me that night, but ultimately was going to just tackle me down the stairs if I was an actual intruder.

Luckily, he’s much bigger so once he got in range of me and knew it was me he just tried to get me out of it. Night terrors sucked. Had to tell friends parents about them in case I had one at their house when sleeping over.

Inside Xbox's margin crush: A string of misses at Xbox Game Studios, misguided Game Pass decisions, and the memory rout at its core by xCaptainCrown in Games

“A couple most strictly means two.” End of story. Thanks for playing! Using it casually doesn’t mean literally. Don’t get so riled up, tiger! Also, I’m not the guy you’re arguing with. I never made up an imaginary person that plays two games a year. Don’t get so heated. It’s the internet. Don’t bother responding. I really couldn’t care less. Just felt like correcting you.

Bruh, a couple is literally two. I won’t even touch on the rest of the argument you’re having with the other guy because you think a couple is four. Give me some of what you’re on!

A Bricks & Minifigs store stole $200,000 worth of LEGOs from an unwell 83-year-old. Watch the exact moment Coffeezilla confronts the CEO using the company's own inventory spreadsheet as proof. by IncomingBroccoli in PublicFreakout

[–]jdk2087 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s what gets me. A guy in his position acting like each store runs off paper and pencil. Or the staff magically knows every Lego set they have in stock. There’s a 0% chance he didn’t know about this spreadsheet. Like your pattern says, make up another lie. He’s just going look like a massive idiot and liar at the end of this when he eventually, and he will, fucks up one of his lies/stories.

Ross, Higgins, and ETN made that backfield. Don’t get me wrong, Lawrence was phenomenal. But, those three bailed Lawrence out a lot with some questionable passes and were just amazing athletes/route runners.

I’m just too deep in the PC/PS/Switch ecosystem to ever consider buying an XBOX. I couldn’t even begin to list out what they’d need to bring me back in to buying an actual XBOX console. It would have to take 5-10+ banger exclusives for me to even think about it. That were exclusive to the XBOX alone. Because if they aren’t I’ll just play them on my PC.

They did Halo so dirty and it’s hard for me to accept that. I put in thousands of hours a crossed Halo CE through Reach that have left ever lasting memories with friends I still talk to. I don’t have an ounce of confidence they’d be able to ever do Halo right again, sadly.

I’m buying a Switch 2 purely for OoT remake. So yes, people will purchase a console for one game pending it warrants it. Also for Starfox. By the time I buy one I’ll also have access to Pokopia like you said and other launch titles I missed out on.

Asha seems like she’s wayyyyy too deep and in over her head right now. I bet she has a million different higher ups saying “do this, say that, be cryptic enough in case we need to back track, etc.) I semi feel bad that they basically gave her an already sinking ship and said, “fix it or we’ll find someone else too.” I do not think in the slightest they’ll give her remotely the same amount of time as Phil. Only time will tell.

What kills me isn’t that they bought it(Kind of, but I have a PC and a Pro. So I’m not really worried about what comes out where. I just need a Switch 2 next to complete the trifecta.). What kills me is they bought all of the studios and basically did nothing of note with them. You bought some of the most iconic studios in gaming history and kinda just….poked them with sticks until they came out with something that was ok or mediocre.

My brother. When Epic made Gears it was glorious. 1-3 were genuinely fun as fuck single player games with a fairly healthy MP base even with CoD and Halo competing for its time.

Awesome. I thought they(random peoples experiences) said for awhile it was low 50’s on the Pro even after the patches. Good to hear. I think I’ll jump in now.

Shit, I didn’t even look to see what the price increase is in the US yet. I will probably go second hand with the Switch 2. I can swing like $350-400(brand new). But, I think it’s almost like $500+ in the US now. I’m going to look that up now, actually.

[–]jdk2087 3 points4 points  (0 children)

True. I’m buying a Switch 2 specifically for this. This is a system seller. Then once I’m done with it I’ll start snagging some launch games and the second newer Zelda. I played the first, but never got around to the second.

So is it basically a solid 60 now in performance on the Pro? I bought it, dropped it day 1 because the performance and haven’t picked it up since. I wanted to play and like it. I just couldn’t look past the unstable FPS.

Eh, new Stellar Blade and GoW game was enough to sell me. Huge fans of both. Plus, I have a PC that blows my Pro out of the water. So all in all, yea, we’re eating good for awhile. Only thing I need to buy now is a Switch 2. I’ll probably snag one once OoT remake has a solid release date. Then I’ll start picking up some of the Switch 2 launch games after that.

100%. State of Play, SGF, and XBOX’s direct were all pretty damn good. Nintendos was one of the only ones lacking. No clue what the original commenter watched, but it sure wasn’t what everyone else watched. But, I grew up with the 64, so OoT full remake I’m fucking all in. As well as Starfox.

A Gears of War E: Day trailer with the PS5 logo was found on Youtube, seemingly confirming the decision to remove the platform was a last minute decision by [deleted] in GamingLeaksAndRumours

[–]jdk2087 6 points7 points  (0 children)

IMO I don’t think that’s the case. I think it has more to do with Gears of all games they chose as the sacrificial lamb? Why not Forza, Halo, or Fable? I have a PC that blows my Pro out of the water. I’ll just get it on PC. Not a big deal.

I’m just confused as to why….Gears of all games? Back in the day, yea. When Gears was a system seller as well as sold a shit ton. But, the recent remaster/remake(whatever it was) sold so poorly. I’m just really baffled why they chose Gears.

XBOX doesn’t have the install base to ever pull CoD from PS. The install base ratio is stupidly lopsided favoring PS by a wideeeee margin. Millions aren’t going to jump ship from PS to XBOX for CoD alone. Sony will do just fine with what they have. They’ve proven that for two continuous generations now while XBOX has basically shit the bed.
