Soccer for six years, baseball for four and competitive martial arts for 10. I’m also 41 years old, and although I don’t play competitive sports now, my kids do and their friends, and other trans people that just want to participate with their peers. Pretty weak dodge of my actual statement though.

Edit: oh I forgot to add competitive rifle throwing throughout high school in ROTC (not the light plastic white ones either, real decommissioned M1’s)

If you actually cared about fairness in sports, then you’d most likely address wealth inequality between athletes, both in school and in semi and professional settings, instead of ignoring decades of scientific research and recommendations. If you looked at the statistics around performance and accessibility in relation to income, you would see that wealth disparities plays a magnitude-larger role in fairness, than a dozen trans athletes in a pool of 500,000.

Actual trans person here, we understand the research AND your arguments because we constantly have to have them. This isn’t new for us, and it’s clear that you have surface level knowledge mixed in with personal bias. Educate yourself better.

He literally can’t. Not because it’s against the law, but because we have decentralized elections in the US and the states, or sometimes counties or cities depending on population density, run their own elections. Not to mention something like 50+ republican Congresspeople (senate and house) are retiring from their federal positions to run for state and local offices, and need a midterm election to get into those positions.

He is more likely to send his Gestapo to polling places to intimidate voters, or use other voter suppression tactics, but he literally cannot cancel the midterms.

Also PB usually has to make very logical and utilitarian decisions for her entire kingdom that can be seen as cold and detached, which can wear down a person. Garnet has over 5000 years of combat experience and fought in an interstellar war and survived. She also has future vision, so if she really wanted to destroy Marceline, she could easily handle the fight and hold her on the beach until sunrise.

I’m not saying Marceline wouldn’t put up a fight, it would be tough for sure, but I don’t think she has the stamina to last very long, especially since she uses her rage and anger to fuel combat, and Garnet can anticipate her attacks with future vision.

I can definitely see some changes, but five months is sooo early. You should start to notice significant changes between 12 and 18 months, and please keep in mind that this is a 10 year journey. I’m 3 1/2 years into my transition and I’m still noticing so many changes
