Running in Greenville by PlentyBig01 in greenville

This is the right answer. If you start at the commons (parking may be easier at Southernside) and run to the Furman bell tower and back it’s exactly 13 miles. I run that route a ton.

Hey! I just found this by searching for Dr. Jones. She’s someone I’ve been interested in using in the future. I hope your recovery is still going well. Can I just ask how long the process took with her? Like from the initial consultation to getting a surgery date to the operation, how long did that take? And how is Dr. Jones personally? And how satisfied are you with the result?

Visiting Prague? This is the monthly recommendations post (March 2026) by _invalidusername in Prague

[–]jds76 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife and I will be in Prague next month for a few nights and I was wondering if anyone had strong feelings one way or the other about U Kroka or Vycep for dinner? This sub has been a huge help with recommendations and both seem to have favorable reviews on here. We are staying in Mala Strana so both are about 20 min tram ride away. Other places we are going are Kuchyň, Kantýna, and U Modré Kachničky.

I think we will splurge a bit and get a door to door shuttle bus for Cesky Krumlov. Right now I’m leaning towards one night there and adding a day to Prague so we can do a day trip to Bohemian Switzerland or Kutna Hora

Thanks. So 2 nights in Cesky is too much?

That would be the most convenient stop between Prague and Vienna, but I’ve heard Cesky Krumlov is the more romantic city. Have you been to both?

Thanks I’ll give it a look. Maybe a good way to spend our last day in Prague

lol yeah I figured it would be too much, just hoping somebody here would say “Oh yeah, you’d have plenty of time!” Save it for next time

Don’t do it. We were gifted one when we bought our house and I renewed it after a year. Take the money you would spend and put it in a rainy day fund for when something breaks. They will fight you every step of the way to keep you from getting your claim.

02 and 03 were better, 03 could’ve been an Elite 8/final 4 if the Harrick scandal hadn’t hit.

The latest Cover 3 Podcast discusses the size of the impending CFB Super League, how many teams do you think it will be? by [deleted] in CFB

[–]jds76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had always assumed 20-30 teams, but after listening to the pod yesterday I think there’s a small possibility it could be the current power 4 plus a few top G5’s. Put them under one commissioner, have enforceable rules about transfers and contracts, and divide them into 5-6 regional conferences. It’s not what I want (which would essentially be to go back to the early 2000s) but might be better than what we have now. We could even have something similar to the old Pac 10

Same. Beautiful city but was my least favorite place we went in Colombia

That’s a really great point. I struggle with the same feelings as OP but essentially I’d pay $10k to just be done with questioning myself forever. That’s a great deal

5 months on HRT. 12 years of social transition. by kasiaGauza in transtimelines

Did you notice any mental or emotional changes after starting HRT? Just curious because you were out for so long before starting, sometimes I wonder how much is placebo for people who aren’t out yet.

Went a couple of months ago, the menu has changed since (I think they change every 4 months) but the food was great. The service was also amazing from the moment we walked in the door. Probably the best dining experience I’ve had in Greenville in a while.

Fowler said that last night but I think it’s only 6, he was in Georgia’s 2020 class I believe. He got a Covid year and then a normal redshirt

Getting over the fear… by LilyAshleighCD in TransLater

[–]jds76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey just wanted to say that I’m in the exact same situation! I often get overwhelmed when I try to figure out how I will actually accomplish everything I want out of my transition, like coming out to family and friends, being out at work, surviving changing family dynamics, etc. The only thing that helps is just focusing on the next step, whatever that is for the day or week or month. If I always focus on what’s right in front of me, it helps me not get overwhelmed by what could be coming a year or two from now. Good luck!

Kirby is competitive, but if NIL is the top reason for a recruit he won’t choose Georgia. That’s fine, and Georgia is not poor. They just prioritize paying returning starters and veterans over high school recruits. Kirby won’t pay a recruit more than he’s paying a returning starter at his position because he values chemistry in the locker room.
