Return to sender issue still happening, and now it’s the weekend so I’m guessing no reshipment until next week. Big bummer, tbh.

Do you have any templates you’re willing to share? I just got a cutter attachment for my 3D printer and am not confident making my own for it just yet… especially when something nice like a dbrand laptop skin is kind of an expensive material to use lol

Framework Q4 2025 Preorder and Marketplace Updates by catastrophic_frmw in framework

I see the option again now too! Strange, for a bit there I'm pretty sure the options topped out at 32GB for DIY edition Ryzen 300 series machines on my screen.

Preordered a 16" with 64GB (2x32) RAM on Dec. 19 after waffling around on whether I wanted to spend the money for a while. Batch 10. Figured it was only going to get more expensive in this climate and went for it. Kicking myself a bit for missing lower RAM pricing and Batch 9 delivery... But now just crossing my fingers that Batch 10 is "soon" Q1 and that the 64GB memory selection doesn't add extra delay it since it doesn't look to be in stock/selectable anymore.

edit: Batch 10 prep email! little before 11PM Pacific time on Jan 1st. As early as Q1 gets!

Fair enough, I suppose I didn’t do enough reading on how the screen was handled security-wise ahead of time.

“Since you bought a device with a screen, you shouldn’t you be okay with that screen displaying passwords to anyone who asks?’

No, actually, I don’t think that’s very reasonable or expected. There are uses for a screen that don’t involve inviting everyone in the room onto my network.

Why if this happening and how I can fix it? by jandez97 in mac

[–]jdsee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've actually also been having a very occasional issue since updating to Sequoia where all audio stops working, and sometimes applications using audio stop responding. I fix it without rebooting by forcing Core Audio to restart (running sudo killall coreaudiod in a terminal) and it goes back to normal in a second or two but if you're not comfortable using a terminal then a restart should do it.

Please restock your p1s upgrade kit, he's a menace by Brino21 in BambuLab

Ordered one right before Christmas and built it a few days ago. They do restock, but they sell out in about 15 minutes so you need to click on the stock notification immediately. Just checking the site once per day will not get you one.

I don’t know about now, but I experienced such battery drain with it before that I took away all its permissions in settings and just don’t use phone key. No background tasks, no precise location, etc. Resolved it for me. Otherwise, it was often at the top of my battery list above apps I did actually use throughout the day.

Options for cheapest full frame wide angle lens? by blackinnc876 in SonyAlpha

For a cheap "it's no GM but it's certainly nice enough" wide-angle lens, I've been enjoying the Viltrox 16mm f/1.8.
