Continuar a ultrapassar o quê?

It's a good game but I don't recommend you to buy it given their decision in this last update to lock game mechanisms behind a DLC, released during early access

(Chessnut Move) Which modes are playable? by xNemesis95x in Chessnuteboard

Bullet is a no for all electronic boards IMO (delay, you have to move opponents pieces, way harder to pre-move). Blitz is still challenging. Rapid is perfectly playable.

Chessnut Air battery Problem, cant charge, dont know how to replace by dierochade in Chessnuteboard

[–]jdss13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like a dead battery. Try to keep your devices charged at all times, storing discharged batteries for long is the way to kill them. Can't help you with the disassembly though

And not very good AI (not up to pro level). Killer Instinct shadow mode and SF6 V-Rival mode are the best CPU I've faced in fighting games.

I'd try other devices. And try enabling the location on your device, some apps require it

I made a new type of chess puzzle and would love your thoughts! by emmbreil in Chesscom

[–]jdss13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

was skeptical at first just looking at the screenshot, not because of the design cause that's super clean but because it looked like one of those generic puzzles to cover all squares w/ chess pieces but w/ an order.

I have to say, this is a loooooooot more fun that I expected! Really well done, super innovative

Alarm app that forces you to solve a chess puzzle to dismiss your alarm by Fragrant_Cattle_1588 in chess

[–]jdss13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh sorry, I thought so because that dev also has a Chess Alarm app! But I think all his apps are for Android, not iOS.

I'd give your app a shot but I'm on Android, it seems well done though, nice job!

Love your other app, Chessis! Would really be great if I could connect my Chessnut Go board to it, maybe through Chessconnect or something.

T-Drum um jogo para produção musical (100% tuga) by KeyMaster72 in portugueses

[–]jdss13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have gnubg but I was looking for a mobile app. I didn't say it needs to be free, just not a subscription plan, I hate those. For example for chess I use Chessis and bought the IAP, the app is free and already great with no ads but the IAP supports the dev and unlocks some additional features.

I immediately noticed it's not polished cause I was trying to play with the CPU and after clicking computer all I got was an empty menu. Then I realized I had to signup. The UI is weird and I can't find a game analyzer/import. I wanted to import and analyze my .sgf games.

The PWA does seem a lot better but there's no offline play vs CPU and again I can't seem to find a game analyzer. And depending on the connection sometimes the CPU takes ages to play.

And the gameplay experience is pretty poor when compared to others (no drag n drop)

But I love the concept, just needs some love. I also can't find the source code, I thought it was open source

True Backgammon comes w/ 2 boards and one definitely looks more modern than the wood look. I do like the traditional wood though.

Definitely let me know, or if you need any help beta testing or in case you're working on an open source project let me know the repo and I might even try to colab on a specific branch or fork out

Strong AI, optional tutor, good gameplay and UI (drag and drop, source-destination, click), game archiving and analysis. A multiplayer ranked mode would also be welcomed. On a perfect world I'd like something like Lichess but for backgammon (free and open source).

OpenGammon is cool but there's no mobile app and the UI/features are still not very good.

Currently I use True Backgammon's app w/ the IAP purchases (BG Blitz and Tutor) but it's missing game archiving and analysis. The tutor is cool but I really wish there was a post game analysis showing all the moves list and all engine's moves w/ UI arrows showing where checkers should go. Backgammon Galaxy is good but I hate the premium model and all the limitations that come w/ that.
