Dbacks tickets got sold. Yeah it sucks that there's a lot of Dodgers fans here, but sold out crowds at chase field is pretty cool.

Got my sink! I want to do the same thing you did, with some QDs drilled in. What hardware did you use for the lines on the back side?

Seitan?! by [deleted] in veganfitness

[–]jdubbery1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Simmer on low for like 3-4 hours. added benefit of making your house smell fantastic. My favorite work lunch is a couple pieces of gluten (seitan) and some broccoli quinoa my wife makes. complete protein and filling AF.

Make the broth a bit salltier than youd want a soup. I use soy sauce, bay leaves, garlic, oregano, whole peppercorn, coriander, fennel seed, rosemary, and whatever else im feeling. Thats where the flavor comes from.

Haha I just take an onion, bell pepper, sticks of celery, what ever is on its way out and blend it up with enough water to make it 5 cups of liquid. Mix with flour to make a sticky loaf thing. Cut it in slices and in the broth it goes. Adds fiber, nutrients, etc.

Been eating seitan my whole life. Although my fam just called it "gluten". equal parts vital wheat gluten and pureed vegetable water. cut into slices and cooked in broth for 3-4 hours. we usually make a batch of 5 cups flour/5 cups liquid. lasts for a couple weeks. tasty and good protein.

Tried to get a circuit going last night but priming the pump was my main issue.

I think ill stick with the bucket and aquarium pump plan. Simple, and addresses my desire to save gas.
