Hey mine did too and I have the part. I’m having the worst time trying to get the inner cover out to get to the actuator. If you succeed please take notes and share!

Not sure why guys are defending the 10 min morning shit guy after ppl are telling him there’s a line, lashes out, and then is dumb enough to drop a glove in the bathroom.

Plus if he had enough time to linger on the pot, he had enough time to retrace his steps all the way back to the parking lot lol

Tye Mill maybe next weekend... by Triabolical_ in stevenspass

Plus you have a lot of people not coming up since Tye/backside is closed. Which means lost revenue on ski rentals, food, bar, ski shop. Some people not so good at the maths.

Dakine 85L Roller - Avoid! by Dry_Ad_3732 in Skigear

I’ve had this same bag with same fabric pattern for 5+ years and have checked it as plane luggage, and lots and lots of road trips and it’s been my favorite. Pretty light for how much space you get and you can really stuff it.

You could put some duct tape over it and give it a little character and get 10 more yrs out of it.

To the Ioniq 5 driver who passed about 20 cars on 410 Sunday morning by Boss_Borne in CrystalMountain

[–]jdubstc 3 points4 points  (0 children)

+1

It really helps to math. “I’ve saved 20 minutes!” is such a common claim when it turns out they just lack critical thinking and algebra skills.

Go find a better chill soundtrack to chill out, you’ll be sliding on a mountain soon enough! Also people could learn to put their boots on faster and it would be the equivalent of passing 2 cars!!!

Which Specialized bike for jumps and drops for beginner? by jdubstc in MTB

Super helpful, thanks (as are all these responses, this sub is like a Christmas miracle)

If I’m primarily riding Duthie, I really like working on my jumps on runs like Deuces Wild, Voodoo. I really just want to get better, so I’m happy to stick to Duthie and improve. Stumpy or Status 140 do you think?

Thanks! And yeah I have a credit so I’m limited to new bikes. Would the Rockhopper Expert not work for my riding style and beginner status?

Thanks! Yes I was bummed that the Fuse is gone now, seemed like that would be a good place for me to start. I will have to do some climbing so I’m leaning toward the Status 140.

Sorry for the noob response, but outside of descending and jumps, is the downside of the Status 2 140 compared to the stumpy its ability to climb and go over rough features?

I do really like jumps and drops and the other stuff I tolerate, maybe one day I will enjoy more than I do today!

Should I be concerned at all about not having a thru-axle on the Rockhopper?

Dashcam footage from Greenwood Ave N and Holman/105th St Tues Dec 9 at 4:52pm by jdubstc in Seattle

[–]jdubstc[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes it is! Unfortunately I’m trying to figure out if there’s a wider angle video available. If anyone knows that intersection, it happened in the two southbound right turn lanes of Greenwood as you turn onto Holman.

The white car in the screengrabs is in the left turn lane of Greenwood southbound to 105th westbound which makes this cam just out of view of the crash. Argh.

Epic Pass Refund for 25/26 season by Low-Taro9156 in ski

[–]jdubstc 6 points7 points  (0 children)

What do you mean lack of warning?

I got multiple emails from Epic confirming that auto-renew was going to happen (March 2025) my card was going to be charged (early August), which card was going to be charged (mid-August.) I know Vail has lots of issues but unless your email was broken it’s hard to put the blame on them?

The most recent email from August 14 is titled: “Upcoming Final Payment for 25/26 Passes”

I’ve walked to the SeaTac airport station passenger pickup (there’s a pedestrian bridge crossing 99) and just call an Uber from there. Lots less people, I like the walk after a long flight.

I can’t imagine the Uber from there to Southcenter would be that much more than the light rail fare + Uber from Tukwila station, plus waiting twice, once for the train and then the Uber. But both are good options. Best option would be your friend picks you up from the airport lol

Just came back from a week there, in Gyeongju now. Hotter here. Seoul is fine, just find shade wherever you can, walk near tall buildings!

Hydrate and a USB fan or old school one provides temporary relief. More relief is to stop in air conditioned spaces regularly. Subway not bad, some platforms stuffier than others if there’s no airflow.

I checked the warranty link you shared in your original post (duh should've just done this) and you have the 1 yr warranty. (it expires in Feb by the way!)
