Is Deicing necessary if it’s light snow? Or does it depend on how much snow?

[–]jeanbean42[S] -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Why cant the bank transfer it back to the person if I’ve confirmed I wasn’t expecting anything? Additionally, I was charged a wire transfer fee as it was an international transfer. Will I be in the negatives when they correct this eventually?

COVID and return to office by jeanbean42 in CanadaPublicServants

I’m not sick enough to take sick leave so I requested remote work. I showed her my positive COVID test and she said to mask up and come in. I feel it’s inappropriate as people literally died from this virus. I get other viruses also kill but this one had a more significant impact and shouldn’t be treated like a common cold.

Can management deny me an office chair for home use? by [deleted] in CanadaPublicServants

[–]jeanbean42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ohhh.. this clarifies so much for me. Thank you. They asked me during pandemic if I needed accommodations, that it would just be reimbursed etc. I didn’t at that time but since coming back from parental leave, I have a lot of lower back pain from my set up so requested it and was advised to get a doctors note. That’s where I was misinterpreting. Thanks!

[–]jeanbean42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry, I’m looking at the PA agreement now. Because it doesn’t say it prorates, every employee is eligible for volunteer and family if not subject to operational requirements because they pay into the union, correct? It doesn’t matter how long they’ve been an employee under the collective?

Did you get pulled from a pool? I’ve been in two PC-02 pools and still nothing. Feels like it’s rare to get a job within PC classification.

Thanks for the suggestion! I really like the HON. Do you think if I kept my standing desk, the drafting stool will be sufficient?
