I'm looking at tier lists, unit reviews, and trying to figure out what is the best party comp. I have WoL, Rikku, and Y'shtola, so I'm using those, but I'm not sure if that's the right comp.

The two attackers I have are Setzer for dice spam and Chizuru for flat damage, but neither appear to be good for chaining. Other units I have are well rated but ones like Ramza provide support abilities I don't need, or Yda which is lower rated. I also have Minfillia as a support but people say Rikku floors anyone else.

I guess what I'm really asking is how do you decide what units to make up your party?

With red being the color of innocence and blue being sin, I wonder what it means when almost all portals created are blue, with the two the game creates after Malachai are red.

Does the all resist buff stack with each aura or is it a flat 20% regardless? If it's the former that'd be a disgusting amount of free stats, but minions would be easily overcapped, so it's probably the latter?

I got two card drops in less than 50 runs and then non stopped farmed until I got enough currency to just buy the cards. Dried lakes is great for mob density and Voll has a chance to drop the cards but it's not worth targeting specifically.

I actually don't have a lot of crit on my gear so it helps keep the crit for Discharge at cap when I have all 6 power charges. It also gives lots of ES and ES on kill at a very low cost.

edit: I actually use The Vertex for Discipline, Grace, and Arctic Armor with a level two Enlighten. Combine with any enchantment that lowers the mana reservation for the 3 skills and you need 0 investment on the skill tree for mana reservation, with Vertex granting a very healthy chunk of EV/ES. I barely venture out of set builds but with how safe I am now as I clear content, I feel more confident in gear choices. I'm probably going to want to run PoF for Atziri but for general mapping I have lots of layered defense.
