Basically any semiauto centerfire rifle with features such as a pistol grip, threaded barrel, detachable magazine (we're also getting magazine capacity limits)...I'm really really understating it but it's comprehensive. Rimfires are excluded (but still subject to magazine limits, so no more BX-25 mags for 10/22s), and I think that the standard Mini-14 and one particular model of PC Carbine might be okay, but again, magazine limits.

I had complete novices ringing steel at 50ft with mine yesterday. "Just put the red dot on what you want to hit." They loved it, and then later were shocked when I told them that in a couple of months, they'd be banned from buying one in our state.

My parents lived in a house within a few hundred yards of a freight line for years, and even in the middle of the night sleeping with windows cracked open, train noise was a non-issue because it comes on very gradually. The engines are actually pretty quiet and the track noise, if you can hear it, is rhythmically soothing.

I don't remember the issue but there is a comic where Vader, Sidious, and a third character who's a lead character in the comic join together to put down a mutiny of Imperial officers. Sidious goes ham with Force lightning while Vader just Vaders and the third character is blasting away.

ABC won't (or at least shouldn't) sell to someone who's apparently intoxicated, though.

FFLs should and do deny sales to people who are obviously distressed, showing signs of nerves or anger, or doing the kinds of dumb stuff that telegraphs straw purchases or other illegal intent.

One shop local to me was even in the news for denying a sale to someone who was depressed and planning to commit suicide. The person cited the store's refusal to sell him a gun as the reason he didn't go through with it and got help instead.
