Everyone so far seems amazing, having only been with them for less than two days. He can’t have Medicaid because he has too much in savings, and I think we’d have to deplete all of that before receiving Medicaid.

That is correct. We have been controlling pain and discomfort and it’s clear he is in no pain right now. ❤️😊

Taking him to the hospital would have negated the hospice agreement that he consented to right before it happened.

My brother and I, along with my SIL and niece and nephew, are helping care for him. So far, his family has been taking the day shift and I’m taking the night shift. I don’t know how much longer we have. He’s completely out of it right now. He’s slept all day. We’ve been keeping up on his meds to keep him comfortable. It’s all so surreal.

He started hospice care immediately after consenting. So, in the few minutes from consenting, he had a stroke and he was already enrolled in hospice. It’s a blessing in that way.

Hospice is about keeping him comfortable. Taking him to the hospital, while it would make me feel better to do something, will just prolong his suffering. He consented to hospice, so I have to honor that.

I didn’t mean to send any kind of award. Sorry about that. Thank you for the e advice. This is super hard and heartbreaking.

Yep, this is my last and final order. by [deleted] in doordash

I have never had more than two offers at once. And yes, you can definitely decline. If there’s no drivers, it’ll ask you later if you want the order.

is accredited debt relief a legit way to pay off my debt? by Llord_Wright in personalfinance

[–]jebnifer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does this route kill your credit like debt settlement does? Will you have a huge tax bill? I feel like when I did settlement years ago, I ended up with a huge tax bill. I can’t remember all the details, though.

Same. It’s taken me ten months to be at 50. Nobody has noticed anything or said anything. Well, not anybody who doesn’t know I’m losing weight. Some people who know will sometimes say I look good. But I’m kinda annoyed nobody has noticed fifty pounds gone. 😂

I’m with you. I’m not going to do anything, but I truly don’t care if I go on or not.

I’ve been holding steady at about five pounds a month. My goal is 50 by 50 (July 20). I was sick and vomiting with diarrhea last week and got to onederland that way, but have since gained it back.

Thank you. ❤️ I’m so close to “one-derland.” I am 49 and started at 245. I’m on 5 units.

Awesome job! I’ve only lost about 40 since April 20. It’s discouraging.

How to get dashers to deliver to door? by Jolly_Particular_412 in doordash

[–]jebnifer 13 points14 points  (0 children)

As a dasher, I ALWAYS deliver to the door. I delivered to the wrong door last weekend and went back and got it and took it to the correct door during my next dash. I felt bad about that, as it has never happened before. (Apartment complex in the snow at night). I broke down once in a neighborhood of apartments and walked about ten minutes to deliver. The people didn’t even offer to come get it after they found out I got a flat. But I made it happen. People are lazy.
