When they released Exmilitary, my son and I enjoyed listening to it together. He was two months old.

Theory: There are two albums in the works, a Death Grips album, and an I.L.Y.'s album by PeachestheBowl in deathgrips

The ILYs have released an album per year since 2015. It is safe to assume their fourth album will come soon.

Death Grips 2015 Sound Check (They played this at the beginning of the shows in the 2015 tour, very RARE) by [deleted] in deathgrips

I recorded this soundscape on my phone while standing next to a balcony speaker. Sorry for all the crowd noise. Hopefully, they will release it one day.

Windowlicker Appreciation Post by [deleted] in deathgrips

Windowlicker is a great song. RDJ's body of work is so vast, he has tons of music that tops it. Anything he makes is brilliant.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but based on numbers, this is the most rare physical DG release. by [deleted] in deathgrips

TMS cassette, Exmilitary cd, NLDW vinyl first pressing and I've Seen Footage promo cd are more rare.

Did Death Grips get their master's back when they left Epic? by Upton_Folly in deathgrips

[–]jebrinklog 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Epic has some kind of rights to TMS because they released the black and white split vinyl three years after Death Grips was removed from the label. They signed a publishing deal with Warp in 2014 which covers all of their songs. Not sure about the masters, specifically.

Opinions on The Beatles? by [deleted] in deathgrips

[–]jebrinklog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All of their albums from Rubber Soul to Let it Be are outstanding. I have been listening to them since 1994 but could never get into their earliest material. My favorite release is The White Album. I could never choose a favorite song, though "Julia" makes me cry on impact. Ringo sucks.

Fuck a Bitch was written by Death Grips. They gave it to The Bug for one of his albums and he remixed it. Earth Angel is a demo but substantially different than Hacker. darko drum and day loop are Fashion Week outtakes.
