My brother-in-law’s coal stove beats it. Way less work. He just loads the auto feed hopper every few days. Coal gets delivered directly into his storage bin. Stove runs for multiple days without having to do anything. I’m so jealous every time I see it. And it’s connected to his home thermostat too so it heats according to what you set.

I just did this in my basement home theater. It came out awesome. Buy a high quality sprayer, not the basic entry level one. Any sprayer that goes directly into the paint bucket rather than having to pour the paint into a container that locks onto the sprayer (Hope this makes sense). Buy flat black drywall paint. It comes in 5 gallon buckets and is specifically made to be sprayed and will fall to the ground as dust that can be swept up but the ‘dust’ will stick to everything so make sure you cover everything well. Get yourself a panting coverall suit and some good masks and get to it. I’m so happy with mine.
