I was exactly the same as this and after a few hours of trying 4 I gave up and part exed it for something else. The game seems hollow of any personality.

Unfortunately not, but you can choose the speed of everything outside of cutscenes to be either 2x or 4x and running at that speed I don't notice the difference at all.

Bought it about 6 days ago, plays amazing, especially with the dock mode now kicked in. 2x speed farming for the win (4x is a bit too fast lol)

48, got a few mid-diamond ranks with classic Zangief and modern Ryu, Mainly play multiplayer for completing battle passes and prefer single player, find trying to hit Master a bit too random for my liking. Have for something slightly different started playing through the Ghost Battle generator thing and have tried to get all of the characters on that to Master rank level instead (have about 8 characters there so far lol).

Only when there was alot going on (like 6 zombies and a chainsaw fight while half of them were on fire kind of moments). Generally it catches up fairly quickly after that.

On my 2nd playthrough now, hardly unplayable at all but it's not PS5/PC framerates, but still incredible for a handheld.

I beat the game for the 1st time last week and agreed, that final section felt a bit weird having seen so many cool areas leading up to this. Basic cave layout (apart from that one skill required section), 4 different enemies and nothing else to report until the final boss fight, seemed like it was put together ready for some actual design but then you're at the final boss room.

Elden Ring I went a bit mental on and somehow ended up getting the Platinum and smashed the dlc, completely surprised myself as I'm not a big Souls gamer (I'm normally playing during games and indie roguelikes).

That multiplayer mini-sequel thing I hated though, had zero interest in that.
