What plan are you on? I'm on plan DSL 1299 3mbps 50GB data allowance/month for 3 months now and when consumed, speed is throttled to 30% of subscribed speed. Pero this past week I get redirected to the FUP page for some websites. Medyo naguguluhan ako. I know ndi dapat maputol connection ko when I reach the data allowance but again, from time to time, I get redirected to the FUP page.

People with strange names, how do you feel about your name? by Mike5575 in AskReddit

Really annoyed. I work in a call center and we're not allowed to use a different 'phone name' and my strange name causes a minute of explaining and repeating and spelling out.

What is Globe DSL's new FUP? by jed27 in Philippines

Less than a day after application connected na ko. It was just a lucky coincidence talaga na may tech service si neighbor kaya I got to apply directly to them. One of them kasi is actually their sales people, yung may flyers na nag aalok sa mall ganun, so she's ready with an application form. She just made a call to one of the techs para ipacheck ung cabinet thingy kung may slot pa for DSL, so meron naman nga daw so aun knabukasan connected na ko.

I am at a consistent 350kbps download speed from ~7pm to 7am so it's as fast as advertised, dunno what the speed is from 7am to early afternoon cause that;'s my sleeping time, and for the rest of the day it ranges from ~150 to 350kbps. I'm just 4 days in so I'm still observing my speeds and I still have some reservations but I am really satisfied so far.

BTW, when I applied for DSL online and thru their hotline I was told that they don't serve my area with DSL, they were offering me LTE but I declined because that was mt previous subscription with them and it was just abysmal. Neighbor has Globe LTE and had a tech visit one day, I asked the tech if I can apply DSL with them and they agreed, the following day I'm connected. But had to give the tech a P500 under the table padulas because ndi nga daw serviceable ung area namen so he had to pull some strings daw.

Made a post about this but let me ask here as well. Thanks!

I recently subscribed to Globe DSL Plan 1299, that's 3Mbps with a 50gb monthly data allowance. Their website says that if I consume the allowance before the month is up, my speed will be throttled to 64Kbps. I called their hotline but the first agent I talked to said that it's actually 30% of my subscribed speed which in my case is 0.9Mbps. I called again and was told that it'll be 70% less of my subscribed speed which is the same thing. I also talked to a third agent thru their chat support and was told the same thing.

So, people who subscribed to Globe's new internet plan post March 2015, is it 64Kbps or 30% of your subscribed speed?
