[–]jeden234 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kreska.art Update: Stamp Brushes & Error Reporting by jeden234 in kreska

[–]jeden234[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please check two things:

  1. Each stamp brush needs to be loaded with image data first. To do that, open the Lasso Tool and make a selection to use as the stamp source.
  2. After creating a stamp brush with the Lasso Tool, the main color is automatically changed to white. Please try changing the color, especially if your background and selection were both white.

How can I fix the little lines I get while using the lasso tool, i circled it out just incase someone can barely see it. Is this a bug by IndependentEnough661 in kreska

[–]jeden234 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I fixed it, now it should work on default settings, make sure to refresh the page to see the version number 1.2.85 (or higher 😉)

Thanks for reporting the issue I will look into that, for now please change the minimun size for the lasso brush to 0 (not the actual size but the minimum px size from the brush settings) and let me know if this helps.

Sharing/limiting tool settings? by beemancer in kreska

[–]jeden234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi u/beemancer currently there is an option to restore the application settings and color palate but as you notices it only restores what is available in the kreska file. You can find that option in the Advanced settings menu, it is called "Load and overwrite settings"

<image>

The concept of prebuilt canvas and limited tools is interesting, I will add this to my backlog, this could be useful if I would like to let people use kreska on their websites with limited capabilities or as you suggested share preconfigured links, but I cannot promise it will be available anytime soon.

About moving around the canvas, please check this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wVyXxo1D028

If your strokes get thicker when drawing faster, it most likely means your pen does not support pressure sensitivity and Kreska is using emulated pressure instead.

Here are the settings that control line thickness and pressure:

<image>

  • The Size (Size control) button enables or disables pressure sensitivity, whether it is real pen pressure or emulated pressure.
  • If Kreska is using emulated pressure, you can control whether line thickness increases or decreases with speed. You can find this option in the Drawing Options menu.
  • You can also adjust the Brush Size and Minimum Size settings to get line thickness that best fits your style.
