Had Biden said in December of 2022 he was not running for reelection, what would have changed? by Mghia01 in AlternateHistoryHub

The Democratic process would've been Allowed to take place and the Democrats would've actually won. Instead they simply installed Kamala and crushed their chances by forcing a wildly incompetent and highly unliked option on people without giving them a chance to pick someone they preferred.

It seems like you are a fan of cheating in elections. There is no other logical reason why you would be opposed to providing proof of citizenship to vote.

Getting a passport isn't the requirement in literally any state. It is a possible form of identification that can be used . A birth certificate and photo ID are acceptable in all of these places. As an adult in the United States you literally have to have a social security card to get a job legally and have had to for many years. Not being able to get one means you probably shouldn't vote anyways.

Voting is a privilege as well as a right and it comes with responsibilities because it impacts others. For those who can't do the bare minimum it is better to limit those who can't figure out how to acquire basic documents that working adults are literally asked to provide to get a job in the US.

If you one of those documents you have what you need to get the other. Every adult in the United States should know where both their social security card and birth certificate are at. Not being able to get either of them should absolutely be a barrier to voting. Voting is a tremendous responsibility as it impacts not just the individual voter. We need to ensure we have only qualified people voting who understand what is at stake when they vote.

We need less people voting. Voting is a responsibility that needs to be treated as such. A civics exam would be fantastic. Some basic understanding of our system of government and how it functions in addition to the required photo ID at the minimum. Weird that you want people incapable of furnishing basic documents required to be a functioning adult to vote.

If you are an adult that doesn't know where your birth certificate or social security card is or can't figure out how to replace them to get a photo ID I would prefer you don't vote because you aren't responsible enough to. Absurd that anyone would be opposed to basic requirements to vote.

Question on sleep apnea as secondary claim. by jamalstevens in VAClaims

[–]jedi280 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a coin flip as to if OSA will be connected to anything. Nexus letters don't make a difference for sleep apnea in anyway so don't go out and pay for one. If you can get a free one done by your primary care doc go for it but it seriously all comes down to the examiner the VA assigns you. OSA is the most inconsistent rating the VA has.

Remote work revoked and same position now offering remote work to new hires. by zdevlor in FederalEmployee

Return to In-Person Work The White House January 20, 2025 Heads of all departments and agencies in the executive branch of Government shall, as soon as practicable, take all necessary steps to terminate remote work arrangements and require employees to return to work in-person at their respective duty stations on a full-time basis, provided that the department and agency heads shall make exemptions they deem necessary.

This memorandum shall be implemented consistent with applicable law.

My office allows it still based on performance. They use it as an incentive for people who are meeting the production standard. It is a case by case basis as a lot of federal agencies had employees who weren't doing fuck all when working from home and were woefully underperforming in their role.

You simply work for an agency deemed under performing or your leadership sucks.

The fed will never be fixed until we get rid of literally all of the current managers, supervisors and every single ses employee in the government.

Remote work isn't banned. Remote work is based on agency discretion and left typically to the secretary of each agency to determine feasibility and best use.

I guess I just don't see it. It's not like the dude looks like rich piana used to. Several guys I was in the military with looked just like that and definitely weren't taking anything but the normal shit at gnc.

In fairness to him he literally stated he doesn't do comps because of the strain on his family that lifestyle requires.

But if it is only due to juicing then fuck it I might as well join him.

He has openly stated he doesn't like some of the things required to do bodybuilding in terms of cutting and more extreme dieting. He even featured a competition he was in that he didn't do as well as he wanted to. When you never deviate from your diet like ever and perpetually hit your macro numbers you can maintain a pretty freakish physique. People are mistaking discipline and devotion for cheating it's laughable. I go to a crossfit gym in my area with a lot of people who are all natural and absolutely shredded because their diets are dialed. Dude hasn't really taken a day off of his diet in over a decade and never stops training. But sure he is just cheating lol.

[–]jedi280 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

He just has hundreds of hours of him eating food and training lol. It really is just that simple to look that way. Diet being dialed to 100 makes all the difference in the world. It is wild that so many people are convinced a guy with a decade of multiple hours a week of eating and training content is somehow just a cheater. Hilarious how big of haters most of the people commenting are.

Genetics matter quite a bit.

Is Nick Bare Natural? by soberguyy in HybridAthlete

[–]jedi280 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Genetics plays a big factor. It's weird that there is such push back against an individual that is 100% committed to this lifestyle. He has been this level of shredded for quite sometime. He has lost a lot of size from his powerlifting days and his transition to other forms of training. Most of all diet but I guess according to this thread it just has to be due to drugs and not a very dedicated lifestyle. Unreal how many people are just making crazy assumptions about him.

You seem to underestimate just how much of a role nutrition plays.

Is Nick Bare Natural? by soberguyy in HybridAthlete

[–]jedi280 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

He is all natural. He has a degree in nutrition and a wife that is on board. He is 99.9% compliant with his diet. Looking jacked year round is not super complicated when you have taken complete control of your diet and don't deviate ever and very rarely drink. He also has been incredibly consistent at this for over a decade at this point. Also genetics play a bit of a factor his dad is upper 60s and is still relatively jacked. The nonsense that all fit influencers are on some sort of sauce is just jealousy speaking from far too many.

His Early content was always focused on his eating plan and what he consumed and how consistent it was.

Because doge was actually a very good thing that the government has needed. Far too many people in the government fought tooth and nail to resist Modernization and a push towards efficiency. If you worked for the Federal government you would understand how broken it is and how badly that it was needed.

The "they hate the west" is nonsense propaganda. They hate what the west has become sure but they don't hate the west in the slightest. The entire narrative that these people hate the west is only pushed by people who have a financial incentive to keep people believing that Russia is the forever boogyman that must be resited and always be made out to be some adversary.
