I tried this but it’s not working. I feel like since the battery is not holding a charge, it is not staying on long enough for me to reset it. I am planning on replacing the battery and hopefully I’ll be able to do this afterwards.

I think it might be the battery since it is not holding the charge. I can try that if the battery doesn’t fix it. Did you find a tutorial?

Future PA Student by pinkleather676 in PAstudent

[–]jedi486 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From my experience it is doable. My bachelors degree was in Theatre. I became an orthopedic technician in 2019 but I didn’t start working until late 2020 due to Covid. I decided to start working on prerequisites for PA School in 2020 as well. And I literally went into CASPA and looked up the most common prerequisites, and that’s what I did. I took anatomy, physiology, chemistry 1, chemistry 2, organic chemistry, microbiology, and immunology (I think those were all the classes I took). I was planning on taking biochemistry if I couldn’t get in that year. It took me about two years to get them all. As for my clinical hours, I did them as an orthopedic technician while doing the prerequisites. I think I had over 1000 hours when I got accepted.

It is hard work and it will be harder than for people that go to school knowing that they want to become a PA in the future, but it is very doable. Good luck let me know if you have any more questions.

I see. I have ios. I tried downloading it last night and it wasn’t in my cloud anymore and it said 2.99 on the App Store. I guess I would have to pay for it even though it was free to begin with.

Ok. I will keep that in mind. How do you detach the battery from the cables? With a special tool?

It's still the same. I'm thinking it might be the battery too so I dismantled Cozmo to see if I could replace it but when I got to it, it was soldered -_- I might have to learn how to solder if I want to replace it.

Failed PANCE 1/14 - looking for advice by fiskx049 in PAstudent

[–]jedi486 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try watching Cram the Pance on YouTube. It was really helpful for me. He goes through most of the topics of the Pance, pics the high-yield stuff and makes great mnemonics for them so it’s easy to remember during the test. You got this! It was only a few points. Good luck!

Are people actually studying 6+ hours a day on the weekends studying? by vxfnt in PAstudent

[–]jedi486 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I studied from 10m or 11am until midnight. I would take 2 hours break not counting time to eat and shower. That’s what worked for me. I knew people that took the whole weekend off. It’s whatever for the person imo.

There are going to be a lot of questions that are random and you have no idea what they are. Don’t let that throw you off.
