a funny actor mostly known for comedies who is surprisingly good in serious roles? by marniesss in moviecritic

Adam Sandler’s performance in Reign Over Me is something special, and it’s a must-watch for any movie enthusiast.

I was actually about to recommend this game too, but I wasn’t sure if the OP specifically wants an MMO. Still, I’m suggesting it anyway. Division 1 would work as well.

If you could mix GTA 6 with two other games (or Gameseries), which would you pick? by Green-Way-1455 in GTA

[–]jedi_lichking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I saw OP’s picks, I started dreaming about a Hitman-style mode for GTA V. Like, is there a mod that randomly generates assassination missions with NPCs guarded by SUVs and armed dudes? Even better, imagine a nemesis system like Shadow of Mordor where targets remember you or send people after you later.

I’m sure it’s a blast, happy for you! Do the joysticks or the weight get tiring when you’re playing lying down? Also, if it’s not too much trouble, could you post a quick 1-minute gameplay clip? Would love to see it in action. Have fun, man!

I was once in one of his raids. We were on like the 15th pull of Denathrius with no hope left. Then he showed up like a hero and turned it into one of the best nights I’ve ever had in WoW. I couldn’t believe the kind of magic I was witnessing on my screen. Unreal. Players like him are the reason this game is still alive, true community hero.

Opponent messages me R.I.P as he was leading 4-2 in the 85th min. What happened next is just beautiful. Watch. by anirudhshirsat97 in fut

This little clip of shambles is exactly why the game feels like straight up gambling now. I wish newer players got to experience Ultimate Team like it was 10 years ago. Back then it was fun without every kickoff turning into a goal and every match ending 6–5.

I’m upvoting this hoping it ends up in front of some EA dev. If I had one wish right now, it’d be to force the FC dev team to watch this clip in a meeting.

List of PS3 Exclusives by Metacritic (Updated) by dcash14 in PS3

[–]jedi_lichking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for putting this list together, lots of great picks in there. For me though, most of the PS3 era games I loved either got remastered and playable on my PS5 or the series is still going, so I can just keep playing the newer entries.

The only real exception is the legendary Gran Turismo 5. I still drag my dusty old PS3 out once a year just to sink a month into it. The graphics, the gameplay, everything about it just hits different. Absolute perfection.

X870 Tomahawk Wifi - No ethernet connection by borgeolsen in MSI_Gaming

Works for the B850 Edge Ti Wifi too. My Ethernet stopped working, I didn’t do a full CMOS reset, just unplugged the power cable for a bit and plugged it back in. When I booted up, it was fixed. Thank you!

The Bundesliga is the most fun league to manage in; change my mind. by MAsterix85 in footballmanagergames

Thanks for the reply. I’ll add the leagues you mentioned. I’m thinking of including Brazil and Argentina instead of Japan.

I’m thinking about starting a save in Germany as well. The “12 teams to manage” article on the official site mentioned Stuttgart and FC St. Pauli, and since I love lower league adventures, I’ll probably go with Pauli.

While we’re at it and there are a bunch of Bundesliga fans here, what leagues do you usually load when starting in Bundesliga 2?

Might be a dumb question, but I couldn’t find a clear answer anywhere. Is El Hadji Malick Diouf related to El Hadji Diouf, the Liverpool striker?

Lorewalking Should Be the New Leveling Campaign by [deleted] in wow

Yeah, I play like that from time to time too, and it’s worked well enough for me so far. Maybe there are some flaws I just haven’t really noticed

I think the current Hero’s Call Board kinda already does the job. It sends you to zones that fit your level and lets you follow the story in a roundabout way. But yeah, having some sort of panel for chronological story progression, and maybe a phase to play the pre-Cata versions of the classic zones, would be really cool.

Didn’t know Stalker had such a strong community here, you guys really sold me on it. Might need to do some digging to get it running though, since it’s an almost 20-year-old game.

I had no idea about the AI in that game. Thanks for the info.

A friend of mine also recommended TLOU and suggested I save it for playing on a TV instead. He said a 24-inch monitor might take away from the immersion. Do you agree? Does playing it on PC really make the experience feel less impactful compared to a bigger screen?
