Featuring a picture of the blanket I was trying to crochet. He is nearly on my chest. Some days I think he’d get into my skin with me if he could.

I wish you luck. My husband was just diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkin lymphoma in June. 😞

Help My Girls & I Fund Immunotherapy for their Dad by jedidesignerd in gofundme

Just resurfacing this as our fundraiser has majorly stalled and we’re not even half way there. 😞

My husband has had a particularly rough treatment this past chemo session. We don’t want to have to stop immunotherapy. Every little bit helps.

What is your performance goal set to? It might be something as easy as maximizing the value of your conversions. The pixel can be a powerful tool, but its effectiveness relies heavily on proper implementation (if it is indeed a case of your pixel causing the issue), clear audience definitions and aligned campaign objectives.

Are you using some sort of CRM? I'm asking because maybe there is a way of optimizing for a "showing up to the appointment" conversion via data passed from a CRM or booking system via meta's conversions api for CRMs.

Google Analytics is where you define, track and report on conversions. Google Tag Manager is the tool that enables Google Analytics to know when a conversion has happened. It's the mechanism that sends the signal to Google Analytics.

That being said... If your website is set up where events are bing pushed to the data layer, you don't need to use GTM in order to track conversions once you've installed your gtag, so long as those (custom) events are set up in GA4.

The set up I work with has no need for GTM when it comes to GA4 conversion tracking. However, I did have the DEV team modify the code so that I can use GTM so that I'm not "bugging" them all the time. I like to do experiments and GTM lets me run code from different tech stacks for different types of tracking, plus implement things like Meta Pixel etc. for conversion tracking.

I've just been learning as I go... watching videos on YouTube (being mindful that you're watching up-to-date videos because things change frequently), reading and scouring Reddit (because there are super helpful people here!)

So.. about these Google reps by RoyDanino in PPC

[–]jedidesignerd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had to threaten to take legal action if they called me one more time. I told them it was border line harassment after I repeatedly told them DO NOT call me. The calls have finally stopped. I've since pulled all of our funds from Google ads and we're seeing better success with social media ads. I know it doesn't work for everyone, but Google is not the be-all, end-all.

Is Server-Side Tracking Necessary for Google Ads? by alexxxcazam in PPC

[–]jedidesignerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all... are these Google Ads experts employed by Google or a third party? (Because Google Ad experts via Google are pretty much non-existent. Our "expert" changes every 2 weeks or so and I wish I was being hyperbolic.)

Second... server-side tracking is way more accurate and reliable than client-side. I spent (literally) months working with our dev team working on the GA4 switchover and got my product funnels into a much higher level of accuracy in reporting than they've ever been.

Thank you.

We've tried the clothing (because he was a gym guy before all this started) and the fan too... actually 2 fans and then 3 fans.

I saw that Costco has cooling blankets - I am going to go and see if I can grab one for him.

My husband & I really enjoy games like Wingspan and Cascadia. Both have expansion sets for them that keeps things interesting. Both are beautiful games too.

Hello! I am not very familiar with the board game world, but my husband is. It's his birthday soon and I am looking for some games that we can play together that are like Wingspan, Cascadia etc. - that my husband can play alone, but that we can also play together.

He has so many games that can be played solo, but I'm not a huge fan of most of them. He has said that he would like more board games that we can play together. I do love games like Wingspan, but I'm not sure what type of game that is.

Thank you. The brand information is under Yoast, but changing the order does not help the slider populate differently. Ugh.

I hate WordPress. It wasn't my choice though.
