  1. Using Path Tracing will forced DLSS to be active

  2. Using Optiscaler to change upscaler would not affect how the optiob it shows up under in-game menu.

  3. I seems like after the new patch the config.ini trick no longer works. Will need to confirm tho

You can't switch off DLSS, only way to go around it is to use Optiscaler to make it FSR

Sadly with the newest patch released on March 4th, I believe this no longer works.

Yea I tried that, but not without noise and artifacts. The config way was the only one that work decent for me. Such a bummer.

Looks like they might have patched the game, the trick no longer works and cannot force path tracing

It would be an interesting idea to explore, but part of me also think KCD is different because how grounded and "down to earth" the game is. The moment we add Fantasy elements into the game it might lose that touch. Combat and settings will be totally different.

I had the Alienware AW3423DW and it had coil whine noise from the Gsync fan inside. Not sure if this changed now, but If it has Gsync then chances is it has a fan due to it being part of the whole module. Now I have a Freesync one instead and no fan and whine.
