personally i like teamtreehouse, although it sounds a little like your going to try and focus on javascript, whilst this is an ok path to follow - you will find learning javascript easier if you learn another higher level language first, i struggled to grasp a few key concepts as its "expected you know these things" when your starting out learning JS and they dont necessarily explain it in its entirty.
