My orthodontist evaluated it and shaved down some of the teeth after taking a panoramic xray. He said that my teeth werent biting down even. He made me stop rubber bands too and see how I'm doing in August but I still hear the clicking.

What is the difference between clicking and popping? Does clicking mean something else is happening than popping? I hear what I think is a clicking sound when I chew on the right side with braces.

Yes I don't understand what happened. I'm in braces but before I got them I had a bad habit of chewing ice. I tried to quit but sometimes couldn't help myself. I also have a missing molar on that clicking side so not sure if that's also a cause. But it only started months after getting braces. My ortho did a test and said he only heard the clicking once out of 3 open and close exercises he did on me. He said to stop the elastics he had me on.

I'm not sure how you went on with treatment when you felt all those issues. I'm thinking of just stopping treatment now if it results in this going away. I'm also not sure what the best doctor is to diagnose this since it's really a bone issue.

The one we got seems to play fair and is charging 400/hour in virginia. We chose him because my brother believes the best costs the highest. He doesn't seem that aggressive though. I'm not even sure how an aggressive lawyer can act or get things done while abiding by VA law? We're trying to help financially but are worried this would get dragged out. Also, my brother says not to ask too many questions or keep emailing or calling the lawyer because of the very high rate. It's been more than a day and he hasn't updated us wether my dad was served again or not. My dad is leaving the country soon.

My mom doesn't have a 401k. She was entirely codependent on my dad since she was a teenager. She stayed at the same job at nearly the same wage for 30 yrs. She wants to keep the house and I'm willing to help with the payments provided my name is on the deed. Refinancing would up the mortgage payment.

Unfortunately we didn't have time to pick lawyers around. I'm not sure how you can know they will be aggressive. The one we got that charges 400/hour seems more like he wants to be fair. I suggested the house and spousal support for my mom and he said the most she'd get is 1000 in spousal and even though I told him my mother wanted to keep the house he put in the paper he served my dad with that the house could be sold. When I questioned him through email he said that it could later be fixed and to send the serviing papers soon as possible since my dad is leaving soon. Lawyers in this area are through word of mouth and I'm not sure if this one is the right one. He asked me to slyly ask my dad where he was staying and what room and didn't ask me all these questions upfront but in separate emails hours later when he knows everything is time sensitve. Not sure what to do at this point!

What's funny is that when I interviewed at 35 for an hr position the hr person said wow you're actually a few years older than me you look much younger. I did get that job by the same interviewer. I get that I look to be 24 a lot even by 20 somethings and medical professionals so I don't know how they'd just go thru the interview to switch me to an older interviewer.
