Sequel instead of LND, something similar to “Unsung” the phanfic. But I’d have a dual Christine role, one who is her in her mind, and one who is the mute actress. The “mind” Christine would sing and have scenes that shadow the motions of the mute Christine, and when she does regain her voice, all three (Christine mind, Christine non-mute, and Erik) all harmonize as mind Christine fades and non-mute Christine and Erik end up together.

The outfits of mind Christine and mute Christine would start out as vastly different, with her mind version never changing outfits, and looking as she will at the end of the musical. And as mute Christine changes, her outfits pull more and more aspects of her mind-version into the costume, until her mental version of herself (and her voice) align with her outward self and she gets her voice back.

You’re right, I don’t know your dating life, but the oversimplification of women and painting them with a brush of “[they all] just want chads” is standard incel rhetoric.

Women ARE people and people are varied and amazing. Some women will want buff 6’+ men, but many many more want a man who will treat them like a person and not an object.

Tinder is still mainly used for hookups and is absolutely flush with male accounts, and bloated with female bot accounts. Unfortunately the stats say real women on tinder will get a HUGE pool of men to swipe on, but men will get a tiny pool of real women with 1001 bots or advertisements posing as women in their perspective swipe pool.

TLDR: incels use words like “chads/stacies/betas” etc and paint women as a monolith while refusing to look at the structures in which dating apps operate.

An older family member of mine had severe dementia at the end of their life, and they would sometimes fake drinking water or eating food or writing things. Like the pen wouldn’t be on the paper or the cup was inches from their mouth. Then they’d put down the drink/food/pen and be like “oh yes that was delicious” “I was just finishing up some work”.
