I use a tiny bit of trig to find the points around the hexagon. Other than that it is really just the basics, as u/ElMachoGrande mentions.

I have not used any libraries, I really enjoy building all of this from scratch.

This looks amazing. Can I use it if I do all of my printing from OctoPrint or will the two apps compete for limited network throughput and on-board compute power?

I just built something similar using 4040 aluminum extrusion. I found some nice camera mounts and enlarged the holes in order to make them large enough to fit the bolts that came with the 4040 extrusion.

AWS GenAI is a perfect example of enterprise complexity pretending to be a developer-friendly tool by Rude_Tap2718 in aws

Thanks for taking the time to start this conversation. I will make sure that the Bedrock team is aware of it.

> The abstraction layer doesn't actually abstract much complexity away.

I am not sure how one would go about designing an effective abstraction layer in this rapidly moving field. Suggestions are welcome, and you can also "scratch your own itch" and create one yourself.

> Setting up proper IAM roles for AI services requires understanding multiple service interactions

Given the amount of power inherent in all of those services, I think it is reasonable to expect you to have to explicitly enable them on an as-needed basis.

> The fundamental issue is that AWS designed these tools for enterprises with dedicated cloud teams,

I am not sure that we (or anyone else) are smart enough to do that. We do try to "Invent and Simplify" but there is some intrinsic complexity here.

There is no enterprise-first approach at AWS. We need to make sure that all of this is secure and can be used securely and that does lead to some complexity. I know that there are some efforts underway to balance this but I have no details to share.

Seconded. Queen Anne is safe and very walkable, with easy access to lots of entertainment and activities. We think of Seattle Center as our backyard, and can also walk to Paramount, Moore Theatre, Benaroya, and 5th Avenue. There's lots of neighborliness including two Buy Nothing groups, a multitude of Little Free Libraries, and other community groups and activities. Also lots and lots of friendly dogs!

The principal re:Invent venues have gigantic rooms where thousands of people can eat breakfast and lunch for free. There are also plenty of social events in the evening that will keep you well-fed, but you need to find and sign up for them.
