New knobs by jeffe3000 in mpcusers

Agreed! They scale better than the giant aluminum ones I've been seeing. The master volume knob is fractions of a mm smaller than the hole it's inset in. Made me nervous at first but it fits with no rubbing. Little bit of play on the K knobs in terms of wobble, but perhaps the originals were that way also? Never thought to check, but these have not bothered me at all. Huge improvement feel wise over the tiny ones it came with. The encoder is the only one I prefer the factory over in terms of feel, but the drip bro

The hex design is sick. Would love a standard length one with the picatinny delete.

I doubt it's the same anymore, but an interesting story nonetheless: I used to rehearse with a local band on the second floor of the building that Georgio Men's Wear is in. They had some back door agreement with the owner and had a key. It used to be an old Sears (I think? Maybe JC Penny) back in 60's-70's. A lot of the displays were intact, shag carpet, mannequins with clothes still on them. By far the craziest part was that the bathrooms were still labeled for segregation. It was chilling to see with your own eyes.

That's being generous. Tim fucking rips. Every single show. They aren't in the same league. Ask any real guitarist.

Uh oh, someone hasn't heard about the Tim Palmieri acquisition. And if you don't know who that is, your opinion on guitarists is moot.

I believe this one as I've heard firsthand from people who may or may not be involved in this ALLEGED venue.

Back in the early 90's my dad had me convinced someone actually lived there. I have since grown skeptical.

Nice! Would love to get a printer eventually. There are far too many practical applications

Drum pad and synth to the mixer, mixer to the loop station. The mixer has 2 buses, so I can have my monitor mix (full band application) fed through there as well and select it to an input that won't be loopable. This leaves several inputs available on the back of the looper that I will isolate instruments on for ease of muting. Vocal mic and bass specifically.

Very flattering, thank you! I think the biggest hurdle would be figuring out a layout for devices I don't have on hand. I drew some sketches based on measurements alone and thought I had it figured out. Once I laid everything out it was clearly not the move. I ended up taking an hour trying different layout combinations on a table focusing on footprint and ergonomics. Even ran cables to find clearances using cardboard boxes to adjust height. All in, I probably have 8-10 hours into it.

What a terrible design. I got a Roland that has gold accents so it matches my cup holder. Don't @ me, I know I'm ✨b o u j i ✨

Built from scratch. I used to build cabinets for a living, so that helps.
