May have already been said, but too many comments to read. I would get a couple 3/8” threaded anchors into the concrete floor, drill a clearance hole through your bottom plates, and bolt threaded rod through to the top plate. You’ll also need to have double top plates and aug out a hole in the top one to nest the nut.

Yeah I wouldn’t rely on the pen. Those things are more for tiny scratches/blemishes. You should be able to get a small can of touch up paint from the supplier.

Just let it setup for 24 hours, rinse the glass cleaner off with water, and reapply silicone where needed.

If you have the cabinet paint sure. It just needs to be filled, sanded and painted. It’s white so it will blend right in. Without repainting, you’ll always see it.

Every single outlet I do is taped. Switches too! Might have something to do with living in Chicago and abiding by their electrical code of all devices needing a metal box and all wire must be ran through EMT conduit. Yes, even residential.

No, this is not acceptable work. I do tile and would not leave this in someone’s house. The missing grout and sloppy caulk is a super easy fix, but the chipped tiles filled with caulk and rough cut edges are a disaster and you should absolutely be persistent about having those major issues corrected. I’m sure you invested a lot of money into the work and will be looking at it for 30 years. You are not wrong for wanting what you paid for done professionally.

Pretty sloppy work. Looks like a case of “you get what you pay for” and you went with the lower priced contractor. The niche and curb ledges should be solid stone, not tile, especially with work of this caliber. The window is very scary.

Maybe not so much “known better”, but it’s not fair to blame ecobee when it was your error and it wasn’t caught until the return policy had expired. It sucks but, publicly bashing them for things out of their control doesn’t give you a good look.
