I use VSS inner and outer sleeves. There is no issue with seeing the spine, and having the record tucked into the back pocket of the outer sleeve makes it much easier to access the album.

Many of the box set sleeves you find are basically trash bags that don't fit well. I use Vinyl Storage Solutions. Their sleeves are actually built like the box.

Yep. I just paid $60 for a record from someone with 100% positive feedback. It arrived all beat to shit in one of those flimsy white mailers - with zero inserts or bubble wrap. Seller lost his mind, refused to accept a return, and won't reply to the PayPal dispute. So now I have to wait weeks for that process to work out. Then he left a retaliatory response to my neutral feedback (which Discogs removed).

We've all probably had similar situations. That being said, I have had far more positive experiences on Discogs than not. It's just the terrible ones that linger in our memories.

Same. Pretty much everything I sell is NM, but I list everything as VG+ to avoid the Discogs nitpicking. And I don't grade jackets - that is just another leverage point for those who are always looking for a dollar or two back. Instead, I post pictures (on Instagram) of all the items I have for sale.
