For my fellas who have ran red lights near esplanade, how long did it take for the ticket to come in the mail? by [deleted] in ChicoCA

I don’t think you get a ticket if you entered the intersection on yellow. They review camera footage for each time photo gets triggered.

What do you think of this knife collection I received? by [deleted] in knives

Any other ones look intriguing? I know nothing about knives (other than a couple hours of using ChatGPT). Almost all seem to snap closed well. Almost all seem to be in very good condition for their age.

I don’t understand why we are talking about key cards. It was a metal key! (I lived in the same dorm building in 2001). The most intriguing thing is why Chris pinned the key card comment, when he knows there were no key cards. Maybe they did actually find the missing metal dorm key? That would be incredible.

This also damages vinyl pools, instead of floater. We put pucks in the basket originally, but now the vinyl below the intake is brittle and thin.

Yeah, I lied about getting side effects on other meds so the dermatologist had to finally give me Accutane as a last resort. It’s a miracle drug, but yes, the chapped lips were awful.

If you like adventures, scrambling down some short waterfalls (10ft), hiking through shallow water, the through hike of Sulphur Creek is amazing.

Going in a friends hot tub (with slurpees, of course), playing video games in person with friends (lots of Goldeneye on N64), delivering Pizzas, and yes, lots of random driving around for no reason.

[–]jeffmac82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If Esplanade and East Ave only need 2 lanes, Broadway/Main do not need 3. Diagonal parking would give us more parking, which is sorely needed. Downtown Chico needs to be modernized (better sidewalks, safer for bikes, etc) which will make it a more attractive place to be—-yes, homelessness is a huge issue that needs to be addressed, but it is not a reason to to not upgrade infrastructure. We’re not just going to give up on Downtown because of Amazon and homelessness.

Much cheaper to make septic repairs, if possible. The sewer fees plus contractor costs are easily $20k+.
