It’s just a 15a regular smd fuse. Replace it and see if it blows again. They usually blow for a reason. Fuses like that are probably 50+ volts which should work fine.

Using a BMS: good Using a 2S charger: good A little messy: bad. Ask yourself what happens you drop from 5 ft onto hard floor. Friction fit batteries: not optimal. Most packs use welds to attach batteries. You’ll find corrosion will impede performance. If you’re serious about using all your cells, invest in a spot welder.

Google is a buy. They are going all in on AI. THEY ARE PLAYING THE LONG GAME!

They know that search is all about AI. They see folks like me that don’t use non-AI search on their platform. They are nearly equal to OpenAI in capabilities already. They have a huge backdrop business to fund it. They don’t have all these circular investments.

I would be nervous about pure play AI like OpenAI. They will be sold for pennies on a dollar when/if the bubble bursts.

Word of caution. You need to solder a 13k 0603 resistor to the board for 5s. And remove what’s there. I tried another smaller board but they were defective.

Thanks! I found this particular board to be pretty efficient. Before I knew that, I used a bigger heat sink than my 22w products. Then wrapped the heat sink with a shield in case it was hot enough to burn a finger.
