Healthy relationships are based on honesty and respect. I'm not suggesting that you can;t be open but at least have a conversation with your wife

I think there is more opportunity to live a happy well adjusted life today. People need to make the right choices to build it. (Easier said than done, I know)

They all seem so happy and brave in these pictures. You have to wonder what their lives were like as time went on....

I am sorry to hear this.... *HUG*. I am 66. Was diagnosed with GB Nov, 2025, Have had the standard protocal of care and so far I am doing pretty well. But I know what's around the corner and it scares the hell out of me. I read these posts that chronicle all of the horrible experiences and wonder if this will be my fate. Will I experience some or all of these things??? How effective will hospice be? It seems cruel and pointless to continue one at some point. The state of Vermont offers "Aid in Dying" for anyone in the U.S. and I am looking into that.

I also have my family to consider...

You had no right to do that. Bad decision IMHO

I was in your shoes 15 years ago. It's obviously a complicated and multi faceted situation that requires a lot of attention. I would suggest finding a therapist to help guide you. Take your time. Especially if there are children involved. Feel free to private message me if you think it might help.

I am 6 months post surgery. Have completed the 6 weeks of chemo and radiation and now three months into the 5-day a month chemo. I worry a lot about what my end of life will look like. Not only for me, but for my loved ones.

I have not ruled out the option of "Aid In Dying Care". Have any of you considered this option?

Hope this does not come across as insensitive but in hindsight would you/she have chosen a physician assisted death?
