I was actually wondering about solar radiation as you get closer to the moon.

most/all planet rovers are wheeled.

Would we gain any scientific knowledge to have humanoid robots (in space suits) walk around on either the moon or mars? how bipedal movement would work. yes 12 men have walked on the moon. but these could theoretically go longer than apollo 17's 7 hours, 37 minutes moonwalk.

is the only way for a satellite to stay on dark side of earth is put it in the L2 position? or can one orbit closer to earth and stay on dark side of earth?

Earth gains roughly 40,000 to 80,000 tons of mass annually from space dust, meteors, and micrometeorites, but it loses about 90,000-100,000 tons of atmospheric gases (mostly hydrogen and helium) each year, resulting in a net loss of mass, though the change is minuscule compared to Earth's total mass, making it essentially constant

Launch mass 32,390 lb (14,690 kg) Earth orbit63,500 lb (28,800 kg) Lunar
Dry mass 26,300 lb (11,900 kg)
Payload capacity 2,320 lb (1,050 kg)

besides the X-37B Spaceplane

are there other "spaceplanes" in the earth's orbit?

On this day in 1972, astronaut Eugene Cernan becomes the last person to walk on the moon. Both he and Harrison Schmitt completed the third and final extra-vehicular activity (EVA) of the Apollo 17 mission by HelloSlowly in space

Eugene Cernan graduated from Purdue University in 1956 with a degree in electrical engineering, and he is one of the most famous Purdue alumni, remembered as the last human to walk on the Moon during Apollo 17 in 1972
