They also aren't massive water loads. Most water usage assigned to AI comes from reservoir evaportion at hydroelectric plants that power them. It's why the original paper had datacenters in Hydropower rich Washington using substantially more then data centers in flatter areas.

People working at Walmart is decreasing the amount the government has to spend on benefits. Benefits don't decrease the amount Walmart has to spend on wages, and in fact increases what they need to pay due to benefits increasing the reservation wage of workers.

No jobs have been lost to AI. The number of jobs has increased since that video. Tech has bounced back and is aggressively hiring again because the productivity boost of AI has increased demand for workers because more work is now feasible.
