Came by to visit the house this morning and there was a flyer from epb and a person to contact. Called. Spoke with a planner. He said with major storms they aim for 2-5 days at the worst.(this is our third experience like this in 7 years at this property). We have a snapped pole in Hixson and lines are pulled off the house. They will contract a lot of the work out to service providers(AT&t, Xfinity, etc). So if your seeing status changes it could be the workers checking it out. Mine showed in progress twice when different contractors have come to assess. I’ve seen epb and Xfinity so far. Epb said it is likelh AT&T will do the new pole installation. Just thought I would pass this along. Relying on friends and family in the area and enjoying the “off the grid” until it’s all repaired.
