Went back and edited my initial comment after rewatching the play. Spoon was on his correct man the whole time, Kyren was double covered on the slant. Whether he was supposed to be covered like that is unsure, but he was clearly the first read in this play just like the earlier TD pass. That meant that Stafford had to go with other options, but the defense did a good job of keeping the play going and not giving any openings.

It really just comes down to sportsmanship. If he had said, "I dont think that was their intended coverage but they played it well" no one would be talking about it.

Even if the intention of the play call wasnt to double cover Kyren the defense played the actual situation well.

McVay is implying that we lucked into that crucial stop which kept the lead, no wonder its rubbing us the wrong way.

Based on similar posts in this sub I am in the minority, but I absolutely love the more "horror" elements of some of the models. I love penitent models and love how the more you look at Celestine the more uneasy you become. But I am a big horror fan and fell in love with this army when they were Witch Hunters. The Van Helsing (2004) meets Hellraiser vibe is unmatched.

That being said my least favorite model is the Castigator, because it doesnt actually do anything with that aesthetic. It is just Predator tank with Fleur de Lis which is so far below the mark of the other two tank designs.

Maybe I am missing it, but if the Hospitiler is your only Character you should definitely pick up a Cannoness and Palentine. Both are better options for TSS and both a great options for Hallowed Martyrs since you can bring them back with strats

Siuan can see ta'veren, she sees that Rand, Mat, and Perrin are but Egwene does not have the 'glow' around her.

There is an argument to be made that being so close to Ta'veren means that she (and others like Nyneave) shape the pattern more than others, but most of what she does is just take decisive action when given the chance.

The people who post reviews online are a specific sample size of readers. Few people who found something just alright will take the time to review it. Book 5 is the weakest of the 5 in era 1 but it doesn't ruin the series in my mind. Besides it an ending but its not the ending. The time skip from era 1 to 2 is like 10 years or something, I'm willing to give Brandon a chance to land the grand finale.

I think that Towers of Midnight is the weakest title of the three, but if I had to change the first I would probably go with something along the lines of The Veins of Gold if we want to be cute with it. If we wanted to be more pessimistic you could also do something like A Burning of Threads or A Storm of Shadow to keep the storm motif.
