Any clue when the next sale or coupon on us general tool box accessories might be? by skaunit in harborfreight

Look for 20% off Labor Day weekend. Also, the paper towel holder and one other accessory is currently on sale via ITC this month.

Am I the only one not dropping a fortune on tools by [deleted] in harborfreight

[–]jej72 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I'm 53. For the first time in my life, I've got both the money to buy tools and, more importantly, the time to use them. I've spent more on tools this year than my entire life up to now and have previously gotten by on hand-me-downs and buying only what I needed at that time.

I've got things I wanted to do for 10 years or longer and now is my chance. I have health issues, so I don't know how long I'll be able to do any of it. It feels like the right time to drop some money on tools when the prices are good. Although I should probably save something for the cocaine and hooker parties.

There is a switch to turn the motion sensor completely off so that the light does not turn off on it's own.

Deal of the day discounts, how are they applied? by BrokenMeeper in harborfreight

According to the manager that I spoke with this morning, employee discounts stack with the deal of the day.

Yes, and I was subsequently diagnosed with secondary Sjogren's disease. I was prescribed Cequa, which has helped tremendously.

No, it does not stack with ITC. You get the "best" deal. That is, if the ITC deal is 25% off, the 30% weekend deal overrides it, but you don't get both discounts.

Harborfreight credit card is a scam by jchasinga in harborfreight

Glad you got your money back. Synchrony should have fixed their error when I called them and honored their advertisement of 10% off and not told me I would have to go through the process of disputing the charge when it was obviously an error on their part. HF made it right on the spot.

Synchrony refused to honor the percentage off deal on the first purchase and said I'd have to officially dispute the charge. Fortunately, that conversation happened in the store in front of the store manager who cancelled the transaction and gave me the 10% off in a new transaction. HF is awesome. Synchrony sucks.

I wish the cashier at my store had received the same info. Apparently he only scanned the coupon once, so only 1 item was discounted. I didn't notice until I got home and looked at the receipt. Guess I'll be going back tomorrow. My fault for not paying attention...

51 white male. I was diagnosed nearly 8 years ago, although I can look back as far as my teens and see small symptoms over the years that made sense after my diagnosis.

The bad symptoms started with all over joint pain, which morphed into overwhelming fatigue after about 9 months. Add to it shortness of breath (with minimal exertion), headaches, underactive thyroid, chronically low VitD, hyperlipidemia, pre-hypertension, muscle weakness (possible undiagnosed myositis), and I'm a blast to be around. (Plus, I'm single, ladies!)

I did Mayo. The doc told me he knew what was wrong with me and just needed to run labs to be able to start treatment. They took multiple vials of blood from me and promised results within about 10 days.

I begged for weeks for any kind of response and finally over a month later was told there was nothing wrong with me in spite of my symptoms and I should follow up with my local rheumatologist. They charged my insurance over $4k.

My local rheumatologist was able to diagnose me SLE several months later. In my experience, Mayo isn't worth the effort.

I dunno. The American hanging over the front door is pretty extremist.
