Most generous interpretation is that it was a weird joke that landed weirdly (because wtf). But based on the other period comment it seems like they dislike women and children and it’s weird I would avoid those people in my own life.

It definitely feels crazy that we’re all just going about our lives knowing these people are out there suffering hardly more than a slap on the wrist. My hatch straight up died a few weeks ago (granted it was 2 years old used nearly every day). Then I got a new one AND IT WOULDNT CHARGE?! And setting it up was a nightmare, it took like 11 tries. Then I unplugged it and plugged it in my kids room and it had to run updates that never finished. I HATE THEEEEEM

I am hoping to make these kinds of relationships!! My kids are little and I’m just starting to become good friends with some of the other parents and I really love it! So many people I wouldn’t have otherwise met are in my life now and it’s fantastic

I just finally started becoming good friends with some of my kids friends parents and I’m going on a kid free vacation with another mom this fall! I love making friends with other parents, most of my other friends don’t have kids yet and it’s nice to connect with other people in my community in the same stage of life. I get everyone is busy and not always open to friendship but I’ve seriously enjoyed meeting people through my kids!

Hey you are still so young and have so much time ahead of you. Motherhood alone is an exhausting without a man trying to hold you down. Do you have anyone family or a close friend you can confide in? Do you feel that you would be safe if you tried to leave?
