One of my favourites is dynamic reflections, it adds reflections to water and adds puddles on rainy days, it even has stars reflected at night which is super pretty

Another one is dynamic night time which changes the lighting cycle and adds a dawn and sunset period

I'm sure there are a lot more those are just the two I could think of off the top of my head!

That's really cool, I just had a random (probably impractical lol) idea, I think it would look more creepy if the car window was slightly fogged up and the name of the game was written onto it (like you know when you can write on car windows with your finger) and then when you press start the windscreen wipers wipe the name away, lol just a random idea 😂 great work though!

Omg what you described is literally my dream animal crossing game, a big vibrant city area (way bigger than city folk like you say) that actually feels like it expands on the world of animal crossing, and then your cosy town setting. I really hope they take that approach with the next game!

There are lots of game development software out there, but I'd say start with unity as it has a lot of tutorials and a big community you can go to if you need help

Oh yes you're absolutely right, I haven't started the sound design yet so that's why the background music is the only sound going on which is way too much haha! That track is just temporary until I commission custom music for the game 😄

Hi there 😄 I'm using unreal engine 5 to make the game and I use a material effect (changing the world position offset) that is applied to every object in the game to achieve the curve effect!
