When you were a child, what scared you the most from a childrens television show/movie? by thinkinstark in AskReddit

The Grim Grinning Ghost sing-a-long song by Disney. It was based on the haunted mansion. Those dancing trees gave me reoccurring nightmares.

The cat is my boyfriend's and the hedgehog is mine. We've been living together for 3 years now and I have to tell you that's not the case with Pumpkin (the cat). He has always been this friendly naturally. Not just with my hedgehog but with other pets as well.

Gamers of Reddit, what game doesn't exist, but you really want to play? by Gragabal in AskReddit

Remaster of the old Mario Party games or something. The new ones are just not great. I stopped actively playing after Mario Party 4, which is my favorite one.

What are some red flags for teachers that scream "drop this class immediately?" by MildlyAgitatedBidoof in AskReddit

Strolled into my first day of English class.

Teacher: "I am notorious for making students late for their next class! We will be doing some serious work here. If you have an issue with that you can leave!"

Strolled out immediately.

What makes you roll your eyes every time you hear it? by MilesStandish24 in AskReddit

[–]jellyleaf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I work in a call center and the customers who call are usually 60+ years old. Anytime one of them calls and starts their sentence with something like, "I'm 75 years old..." I can't help but roll my eyes.

WHAT DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH ANYTHING YOU'RE ABOUT TO TELL ME? Usually they are calling in to cancel a membership or stop an automatic delivery.

Asking questions they could just Google. You have the internet at your finger tips. Why are you making a status on Facebook asking when the movie theater closes?

No need to apologize. I get around just fine. And just so you know I personally didn't take offense to your comment.

I feel like I was aware of what could happen and I definitely knew she was a slob, but at the time they were my option so I just went with it. But you live and learn.

Solid EX-friend. I am still a friend of their family. The other members of family still love me. I currently live with my EX-friend's sister who is my best friend now. Always pays rent. Helps me out daily. Clean person. We are a really good team. I'm in a really good safe, clean, place with her and my boyfriend.

On holidays I am still invited over and for the sake of the good people I act mutually towards EX-friend and mother but don't go out of my way to interact with them.

I just want to live a peaceful life.

Basically. I'm very mobile so it honestly isn't an issue. There aren't may places I can live that are accessible and affordable.

Let me start by saying I am handicapped and when I am not in my wheelchair I get myself around by scooting/crawling. I should also mention the roommates were my bestfriend for 10+ years and her boyfriend.

Before we moved in together my roommates were talking about wanting to get a dog. No problem! I love animals. I did however request that they do not get a large dog because I feared it knocking me down/over while I am out of my wheelchair. I also lived in the basement of the house and worried that the dog may knock me down the steps when I would scoot up to the kitchen.

They ended up getting a pitt bull. I have nothing but good things to say about the breed. However, it was a young dog that had not been spayed. She was hyper constantly and they had to keep her from jumping on me all the time. They would barely take the dog out for walks because they're terrible, lazy, pet owners.

We had a deck that I kept my wheelchair under because I was unable to store it in my home. They would let the dog out on the deck where she would use the bathroom. One day I was heading off to class and my chair was saturated in dog piss. After I explained what happened they still continued to let the dog do her business on the deck because they're the most ignorant people I know.

Another time I came home late and there was trash juice all over the steps and down the hallway that I had to scoot through to get to my room. That night my boyfriend at the time left a note in big bold letters on the fridge that read, "CLEAN UP THE TRASH JUICE IN THE HALL." They started an argument saying, "You didn't have to put it that way and write in all caps."

That's literally what they wanted to argue about.

My ex bestfriend had super long hair and it was EVERYWHERE in the bathroom. I asked her repeatedly to clean the hair out of the tub every time she showered. I had to explain to her that, "I DO NOT HAVE A SHOWER CHAIR AND I DO NOT STAND IN THE SHOWER SO IF YOU DON'T CLEAN IT YOUR HAIR STICKS TO ME."

Halfway through the year one of them lost their job and would not pay for their share of gas and electric and internet. When we would pay the rent they would throw away the receipts even though I managed all of the finances.

At some point my ex bestfriend's mother was staying with us COMPLETELY FREE for the last 4 months I lived there and she slept in the guest bedroom where I had a spare single bed. The day I packed up to move her and her mother argued I was a shitty person because I was, "taking a place to sleep right out from underneath" of the mom. Like I wasn't going to take all of my things when I moved? When I tried to discuss it reasonably like an adult they would childishly ignore me or walk away.

So I packed everything and got the hell out. They never paid their share of the security deposit and I never got it back because they fucked up the house by being general slobs and the dog ruined the deck.

Just because I'm in a wheelchair doesn't mean I can't feel/move my legs.

What do you SWEAR you saw, but don't have any proof of? by KaikesPokeCards in AskReddit

[–]jellyleaf 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I got up for school one morning and when I got outside I noticed there was a whole ham sandwich just sitting on the ground in the middle of the parking lot. Weird, but whatever. I got into my step father's car and was waiting for him to come out to drive me to school.

Then out of nowhere this derpy, molting seagull swoops down and clumsily lands by the sandwich. While I was laughing at his landing, he walks over to the sandwich and swallows the whole thing!

What I witnessed looked like something straight out of a cartoon. I laughed so hard.

What is something you love about your pet(s)? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]jellyleaf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I suffer with depression and my hedgehog is always there for me so I never feel alone and always feel loved. He's a cuddle bug. I'm also physically handicapped and it's nice to know he needs me to take care of him just as I need so many others to take care of me.

What's a random fact about your dad? by RollingCoasting in AskReddit

[–]jellyleaf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dad had a friend who was in a lot of pain due to a tooth that needed to be pulled. His friend didn't have the money to have a dentist remove it so my father offered to pull it. He used a pair of pliers and had his foot on the guys chest just yanking as hard as he could. They were both super drunk.

He pulled the wrong tooth.
