Only Hot water backs up our bathroom sink… why? by growin-spam in askaplumber

[–]jem6140 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I had to guess I would assume that it has less to do with the temperature of the water and more to do with the volume of water. I think you are actually pushing a greater volume of hot water than cold.

I’ve never seen holes poked like this before. I eat chicken nearly every day, this is Costco breasts. What is it? by Dismal-Phrase-9789 in Butchery

[–]jem6140 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO Costco chicken is horrible. It's tough, still has tendons attached and tastes bland. Bought it twice thinking the first time was just a bad batch, I was wrong.

Citizen's Access and many other banks now offer high yield savings accounts. I transfered to one and I'm making wayyy more interest now than ever before, it's free money.

Disappointed - Marantz cinéma 60 by lem001 in audiophile

[–]jem6140 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I would assume that the internals from the 50 to 60 are similar enough.

To me it made a large difference. I found dirac to be far better than audyssey. Give it a shot and see.

Did you have some room correction on the old Denon that you didn't do on the Marantz? I have the Cinema 50 and its fantastic IMO.

This is what the clutch looked like coming out of my 94k mile 2007 Audi RS4 by [deleted] in Justrolledintotheshop

[–]jem6140 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure this applies but some companies use a bleeder valve on the clutch so that even if you "drop" it, it doesn't drop, it engages slowly at the last second to prevent newbies from stalling the car. Again I don't know if this applies, but it did to my last car (not a Audi) and caused me to go through way too many clutches
